Current Head Coach at LSU. This news was broken about ten days to two weeks ago by Mike Trivisonno on WTAM. Nice to see ESPN catching up.

ESPN really goofed this one up. Miles is actually going to have a news conference before his teams game.Said he could not take his team into a game with something like that hanging over his head.

From what I have heard it was all but a done deal, just a formal interview needed by Michigan to make it happen however this morning Bertram threw a an offer at Les that he couldnt refuse so it was changed.

I personally feel bad for the LSU players all this distraction caused by the Pelini and Miles rumors has got to have had an effect on them.

ESPN should have checked it “source” better, they screwed up. I still kind of think something is going on. Miles still may pull a Saban and come out tomorrow and say he is going to Michigan.
The reporting says he is staying put but I have sneaky feeling something is going on, but am probably wrong.

This sounds like your typical Fulmerism to take the LSU players off their game. After all, if Alabama could kill Tennessee, then imagine what a far more talented LSU could do.

But the bottom line is that LSU got to the game, and Tennessee beat UGA.

Plus, LSU’s only two losses were both in 3 overtimes.

It was a no-brainer to select LSU.
