I’m chanting Tebow Heisman like the crowds did at games.

In the LSU game with Florida this year, I kept saying “that kid is good”

“I have no idea who he is.” is the thought that struck me first when I read the title of the thread.

If you saw the college football awards show on Thursday, Tim Tebow winning the Maxwell Award and Davey O’Brien Award meant he was a complete prohibitive favorite to win the Heisman Award.
To: yield 2 the right
An earlier thread had a number of pictures of his lady friend or friends. He’s very talented.

A real class act. Makes you have some hope for the future that there are still kids like him around.

How great was it the first to greet Tebow after the announcement was Danny Wuerffel.

To: thefactor
Who cares. Both of them are Heisman Trophy Winners and QBs on National Championship teams, that’s all that matters.

true enough. enjoy it. but now everyone will be looking ahead to his possible NFL career. even though he will only be a junior. i wonder if he’ll stay at FL after next year.
To: thefactor
All Wuerfel did was win the Florida High School championship at Ft. Walton Bch. High, then the National championship, and Heisman Trophy.
Yeah a real loser.

Who did something right? The voters for the Heisman or Florida Football?
Florida did not even finish #3 in the SEC...

I hate to correct a fellow fan, ut the most important thing about them is that they appear to be men of the highest character and have their priorities straight. Really nice to say and a great representative of the Gator Nation.

I think a number of LSU fans found the guy
scary to watch...
LSU towards the end of the game took the stance to not close in on him with the Defensive Line, but contain him.
The latter worked much better -- as trying to tackle Tebow for a loss when it looked like he was for sure catch behind the line ended up being a run for 2o or more yards or so it seemed...

Finished his last game with a broken hand, IIRC. Of course not the throwing hand but broken none the less.

What position will he play in the NFL? What position CAN he play in the NFL? I like the kid but he is the most overrated player to come down the pike in years.
He runs in a bunch of 1, 2, 3 and 6 yard TD runs and everyone has an orgasm.
He has no chance in the NFL but to maybe play safety.

I could almost picture Tebow in the NFL as a passing FB. That’s something we don’t see much.

They do make a great couple. Someone needs to photoshop Tim out though....

I am a Georgia fan and I was thrilled to see Tebow win. The boy is amazing. He out scored Herschel and Bo on the ground. And just for kicks he was the 2nd best passer in the nation.
Fla can stay 3rd and Tebow can win 2 more for all I care.

Spoken like a true ahole who must have watched half a game this year. He won’t need to run in the NFL. He has an awesome arm.

He is a damn fine passer.

Having seen them both play in person, I would have voted for McFadden over Tebow. I am in Arkansas and really was pulling for McFadden. I knew TT was good and saw some of his games and he rocked.
What I did not know is his character and devotion to Christ. I ALMOST changed my vote after listening to him.
He is a great ambassador for Christians, Floridians, the SEC, football, and America!
Congrats Tebow!
