Elvis: I was in Canada and had been hiking in the Rockies west of Calgary in Yockanoony and had just rested at the Crowfoot Inn in Calgary and we were getting in the car to go to the Alcan Hwy and turned on the radio that late morning

Elvis: I was in Houston working in the home decor department at Sears , right next to the television department. One of the guys from the TV department came over and told me to come look at something. I walked over and they were showing Elvis in his ugly white glittery suit singing in concert, but the voice over was talking about his death. Women were standing in the aisles clutching on to each other, sobbing and wailing. (This went on all day long.) A few of the women that worked at the store were sent home that day because they were so emotionally distraught they couldn’t work.
