Obama: Is America Ready For a Black Government?
12/23/07 | me

The tought crossed my mind today while watching the election centered news - If Obama wins, how will America respond to a Black govenment?

What do I mean by that?

When you look forward to a Hillary or Rudy or whom ever led government, you see a traditional colection of mostly white men, a scattering of white women and a black here and there. The Cabinet and inner circle - all the same

One has to think with Obama's election, the inner circle will be largely black. It is natural. They are his associates. Will the Black community expect a large number of appointment? Any way you cut it - Visually, "things" will look different from the previous 200+ years of US government.

So back to my question.will America respond to a Black govenment? Will it make a difference? Will there be back lash? If we discuss it now, it will become a racial issue. If it comes up should Obama be elected, it will become racial.

It's an interesting thought at this cross roads for our country.

I don’t care if they are pick or purple. Let’s focus on the idea being presented.

It wouldn’t be the black part that bother me it would be the Muslim part..I guess there wpould be lots of Christians beheaded since I for one will not denounce God for the pervert Mohammad.. Maybe I should worry about the black part since the whole country will go like Washington with mayors on drugs and cities rioting all the time..

I personally don't care if a candidate is green, yellow, red, black, white, brown, purple, male, female, transgendered, or no gender.

Are they honorable? Are they patriotic? Are they a conservative? Do they hold true to their core values?

I would vote for a mohawk wearing, green-haired, nose ring sporting transgendered black person in a tutu if they have a solid history of supporting a pro-life, pro-gun, pro-military, small government, pro-American sovereignty (in all it's aspects), TRUE equality for all agenda.

In short, it is the content of one's character, not the color of their skin, that makes the difference.

Obama is a politician. If he gets elected he will do what he has to do to get reelected.

Jackson and Sharpton have not endorsed Obama and won’t until they are sure he will win the nomination.

What you’re really saying is that between H. KKKlintler with 51% negatives and Obama, the rats really have their work cut out for them one way or other.

P’shaw. William Jefferson will be Secretary of the Treasury and his first task will be to buy a bigger fridge.

Aside from this thread being racist, pure and simple, they will have to hire experience and that means by experience not race.

America is already governed by a blaggard government thanks to the 2006 election cycle.

For all the Dimbulbs and folks from Rio Linda:

Blaggard: A person of dubious morals, sometimes with villainous intent and suspicious plots.

More often than not in cahoots with other shady characters.

Ding Harry and Her majesty Pelosi!

What’s more, the general population ignores the appointments of black Republicans to the Bush administration while bragging about the Clintons’ administration “that looked like America”.

Will there be a racial “nod” in cabinet and judicial appointments? Who knows. If there is, we’ll all be hit over the head about it and the obstruction of Hispanic nominees by Ted Kennedy will be long forgotten. Expect the press to be the house organ of the DNC and spread vicious rumors and slurs that the GOP is opposing candidates/nominees just because of their skin color.

If Obama knows what’s good for him, he will wear his faux blackness and faux Chirstianity as a figleaf until the election and then do what his chief sponsor, George Soros, tells him to do afterward.

Like Ray Nagins magnificent Chocolate City? Awesome! The large Robert Byrd wing of the democrat party will destroy Obama. They are going with Edwards.

It’s not the color of Obama’s skin, its the color of his politics. If Mr. Steele won the nomination on the Republican side, I could care less who he put in his cabinet, because I trust his judgment, not his skin color.

Regardless if opposition to a minority candidate is racial in origin, the press will say it is so.

Here in Houston we were told how Mayor Lee P. Brown would represent “ALL of Houston” unlike the white guy. And how it was “time” for Houston to have a black mayor.

When Mayor Lee P. Brown faced a Cuban born Republican challenger in the next race, we did not hear how it was “time” for Houstont to finally have a Hispanic mayor. No, we heard how Sanchez was “anti-Hispanic” and that he wasn’t “genuine” because he came from Cuba and not Mexico.

Our mayor’s office is a non-partisan position. Which means that 2 (or more) Democrats can run against each other in the general election. But whenever a Republican enters the race (and has a good chance at winning) suddenly we are told that it has become a “partisan” race. Terry McAwful and the other national Rats came to Houston to fight for a marginal victory for Lee P. Brown (ex-Clinton White House drug czar) in the runoff election with Sanchez.

Race does not matter but the press and DNC will hit us over the head with it all the same.
