Ping.
Interesting that none of the people reporting these nasty picture frame viruses mentions the brand name of the picture frame.
You’d think that would be handy to know, eh?
No matter what do not click on any of the Web pages or notice boxes. Just close them out X.
The one I got attached itself as a folder in my Symantec Anti-virus Program.
Sign you've got it... Symantec will keep scanning the file which is reproducing and deleting itself inside the program.
Mine was called APT17.tmp
So if you get it... do this... from START menu (lower left) go to: MyComputer --> click on C: drive then follow along with the rest of the folders below C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition\7.5 and delete the folder that says APTemp
Symantec will re-create that file when it needs it again so don't re-create the folder.
Bought my wife a Westinghouse digital frame for Christmas.
It had the best resolution of the ones I looked at.
Downloaded pics to a thumb drive then plugged that into the frame.
Should be ok until I go to update the thumb drive.
Guess I’ll have to see where it was made. /s

Load this photo into your digital frame's memory. That should cure it.
