Is there a story behind this one?

I am thinking it might have been sent from someone with a message to send....had Martin Luther King lived out his natural life, it is less likely his birthday would have become a holiday...

Of course the other possibility is there was some other person by the name of James Earl Ray who made a donation and was being thanked....

Third possibility...done as a fraternity joke or some such...

I find the first story most likely.
