3/13/08: Martin passed away This afternoon in Marin County, CA after a short battle with cancer. Our legendary Meester was surrounded by his family and loved ones and left in peace.

Whew! I had to click the source link. Glad it’s not “our” Martin!That's even more of shock. Gee. I was thinking, "man, I'm gonna be nice from now on. You never know when a FReeper is gonna die."
