That was a great read for a brain dead 75 year old horse and buggy guy. Related to this story...a week ago
Thursday I purchased a new holster for my 3225 Kyrocera cell phone. It is a drop in open top design and a little snug on the phone. I had to charge that puppy every night because the battery was DEAD. On the 4th afternoon I took it out of the holster and it was HOT to the touch.

I thought the phone had gone bad so I left it out of the holster on the counter and it still had a charge the next morning. I put it back in the old ventilated holster on Tuesday and it is still holding a charge and works normally...
