when did Carlin break ranks?
Ive often found Carlin most disagreeable when he gets into politics. I will give him credit though in that he marches to his own beat.

He just likes being “against”. In this case it gets more attention to be against the environmentalists.
I hadn’t watched him for years until a few nights ago. His shtick got real old real fast. Pick a topic, point out whichever side most people are on. Rant against said side.
I think he’s reached a point where even he doesn’t know what side he’s on.
That may be one of the pithiest definitions of "leftist" I've ever read. Of course, all the ranting leads to action, but still...

I agree. I think he just likes to rant. I used to like him many years ago. But it’s gotten old. The video appears to be from a few years back. He hasn’t looked like that for a while now.
