Condi doesn’t decide things for herself, as Secretary of State. She acts, for the President.
Condi is a brilliant, experienced professional. The fact she last week - for the first time EVER, finally publicly expressed an interest in being on a ticket - is hugh.

Prefer a VP that would make me at least hold my nose for the ticket. She don’t fit the bill.....prefer a pro Israel rather than pro-Pali.

McCain wants, because his ego needs, some one who's not going to break ground, that takes the attention from him. The veep can't appear smarter or more ambitious, the veep will have to be content with standing 3 paces behind and always being conscious of the lighting, so as not to throw a shadow on McCain.

Well, this poster has liked and admired Condi ever since reading about how the then-Soviet leader, was flabbergasted and didn’t quite know how to deal with - our Russian speaking Soviet expert who was in Moscow, helping to end the cold war.
Condi gets way, way more criticism on this board than she deserves, and her accomplishments are many.
Please think about, taking a closer look.
Rice is truly, an impressive individual. She’d be a GREAT candidate.
