I see momentum and mobilization like no other time before - and this is without a Goldwateresque leader at the head of the line.
-

I think that the Prez is worried and so is his administration. It’s just falling to pieces!! He’s acting like we’re a third world nation that’s just going to follow along. Like Americans don’t read or stay up on REAL issues because we all didn’t go to Harvard?! We know what’s going on. I think ZerO is surprised to find the nation is NOT Chicago. Most Americans are NOT a completely zombied-out, immoral lot!

O should be worried. The liberal left is mad because he’s NOT liberal enough meanwhile moderates are losing their jobs or fear losing their jobs. Not to mention all confidence is now that Dr. Doom has doomed us all!! LOL ....CA and NY economies are collapsing... Someone has to PAY for their crazy wacked agenda!

And we would be negligent to not be aware of what they plan on doing. (Four days of urban MILITARY ops, home invasion, interogations, illegal searchs - for “one” suspected arms dealer?!?)

I suspect there will be numerous observers to document tactics, MOUT techniques, command and communication, organization and SOP as seen from the ground, and they may not all be local or friendly to Americans or the Constitution.

Curious who would volunteer to have their home searched, as this is often a destructive process.

Is this a 'demonstration' on the order of the "reisitance is futile" Borg bit, or just 'practice' for elsewhere/acclimation?

While I understood house-to-house searches in Iraq may have been mandated by operational necessity, I thought of it then as "practice" for here, despite my trust in our military to not act unconstitutionally.

I grow less certain every day, on that.

The timing of this operation is ill concieved, no matter the intent, but this may have been in the works for a couple of years. It would be interesting to know when that planning started.

Tell me it ain’t so?

My friend’s cows eat a lot of it.

I know a lot of products say, “May contain soy, peanut, cottonseed , etc...oils” That’s a lot of things to avoid.

Even though I would rather talk about secret meetings, I will share a cotton seed story with you, wolfcreek. A high number of blind cows fattened on cotton seed meal were observed in intensive feed lots out west. Cows are generally not in feed lots a long time, and are usually young. Tis not natural for so many to go so blind so quick. Cottonseed meal will fatten cows. It will also give horses luxurious coats. As you say, most store-bought cookies and crackers have cotton seed oil in them. Cotton seed oil is very cheap, it is a waste product. The cookie people use it because it lowers their overhead. Cotton seed meal is also cheap (another waste product from gins) so it is sold as animal feed. However, cotton is not grown as a food. It is grown as a textile, thus different agricultural practices are used. Cotton farmers can use chemicals not legal for food. At least in the south, defoliant is used prior to harvesting the cotton. Chemicals do collect in fat cells. Thus, when you think about consuming anything with cotton seed oil in it, think about drinking a cup of agent orange.

Just think Agent Orange when you think defoliant.

Homeland Security Dept. will be over this operation. Excuse me, but the last time I looked, I thought it was FEMA that had responsibility over national disasters (not Homeland Security). Creepy indeed.

Isn't FEMA now under the umbrella of Homeland Security now?

Unfortunately, there happens to be about 4% more of them than us.

And that so many of them are pansies who are scared to death of guns so don't own one.

Here is a link to a you tube video of Kucinich questioning the reasons for the closed door sessions. The other google links say that the meeting was to discuss the imminent use of martial law.

To autumnraine,

WE didn’t vote in a mole. I warned as many people as I could and I think that I did change some of their votes. But in communist California, I didn’t have a chance to sway enough of the fools.

To El Gato,

You need to understand that the election was decided over 2 years ago. It was rigged. Look at what the media, Soros, Acorn, etc. did to promote a candidate with virtually no experience and ensure his election. He is a puppet of the socialist left and foreign powers.

The main stream media has still ignored the fact that the Obamanation has spent $1,000,000 to prevent disclosure of his vault birth certificate and education records. There have been dozens of lawsuits trying to get the “transparency” that he promised. His BC may very well show that he was born in Kenya as his grandmother said, and she claimed to be at his birth. His education records may show aid for foreign students. Our own Supreme Court is participating in this coverup.

He claimed on his Illinois Bar license that he used no other names, although he has admitted using Barry Soetoro (and probably Dunham) at times. He is a liar and a fraud.

What about his cousin Odinga in Kenya that BHO contributed huge sums of money for his failed campaign? After he lost his thugs went on a murdering rampage until he was placed into the government. Google Obama Odinga and you will get many results including http://africanpress.wordpress.com/2008/08/10/senator-barack-obama-in-kenya-obama-and-odinga-the-true-story/ .

The US is in deep s*** with this usurper president. Stock up on food, water, fuel and ammunition. If nothing else you will have it on hand before the ammo tax is raised 500% and inflation raises the price of everything. In a more dire possibility you may not be able to get these items in case of civil unrest or government control.

I do believe that FEMA is subordinate to Homeland Security, as is Dept. of Agriculture (that is a very big department)

FEMA is, Ag isn't.

Ag is big though. It runs the foodstamp program. Foodstamps were originally justified as a way to deal with surplus agricultural production.

One clue to subservience level is the term "Department" which generally indicates a cabinet level agency, with the exception of the military branches, which are "Departments" under the Department of Defense (and that mainly as a carry over from when the Department of the Army and Department of the Navy really were independent departments). Under departments are usually agencies, adminstrations, or bureaus. For example, Federal Bureau of Invesitagion, Drug Enforcment Agency, and Bureau of Alchol Tobacco, Firearms, and Exlosives, all under the Justice Department.

The Secreary of Agriculture is Tom Vilsack. Here is the org chart for the Department of Homeland Security.

As you can see, agriculture isn't there, and Ag has it's own departmental web page.

Thank you for the clarification and the chart. I wonder why I had it stuck in my head that the Dept of Agriculture fell under Homeland Security? Initially did Homeland Security entertain absorbing the Department of Agriculture?

I would think it an advantage that the Ag. not be under Homeland Security.
