How did we miss this?!?!
Apparently, even if Rachael's show were actually getting cancelled (it's not), she won't go down without a fight. The TV chef is working on an animated series that stars herself as a young chef. The show is being produced by Oprah's company, Harpo Productions (naturally) and is scheduled for debut in January 2009.
Now, I'm not sure how I feel about this one, but to be quite honest, an animated version of Rachael might be easier on the eyes. Then again, it'll still be her voice.

At least as a cartoon, her rump won’t get wider than it already is.

My kind of girl. Easy on the eyes, and she can cook. As for the voice, who cares. I’m Portuguese [and Italian]. We don’t listen to ‘em anyway.

Watching her stuff her face makes me ill. Actually most of the Food Network Hosts have gotten fat. Paula Dean is a wonderful women but she is obese. If I ate her food I would be a artery clogged and obese also.

Oh my Gravy, LOL
I am sorry when I heard it say that I just died laughing and it was even more funnier when Dr Phil said it too...
I am not a big fan of Rachel myself, but she does make some awesome dishes....
Miss Bobblehead that she is, yes a lil too much hyperness for me....
I perfer Paula Deen (I call her grandma Paula) cause she is just someone you could love to have in your family at least that is my thoughts....I also like some of the others on food network...
BTW I thought O would be busy with Obama ding dong and helping him run for pres!

My parents love Paula Deen. In fact, she autographed a copy of her book for my dad.
I’ve always been an Everyday Italian fan myself. Then again, what male who watches the Food Network isn’t. :-)

I found this interesting little tidbit out at that website:
“Zellweger sold her home in the Hollywood Hills,[20] and after renting for a while she now again owns a home in Bel Air. She admits that she gets scared at home alone, and has considered buying a gun for reasons of personal security.[21]”
I wonder if she thinks it’s OK for us?

Although I did see what you posted to me in another forum. And it is my pleasure to serve this country and its fine citizenry.
If the mail didn’t get through, try resending it. I’ve had problems with FR mail before as well.

I got a friend that looks so much like Paula Dean that folks stop her to talk cooking. She also has that beautiful slow coastal Southern drawl like Paula. I call my friend Paula’s stunt double.
To: stainlessbanner
LOL too funny, LOL
does she cook too and as good as “Grandma” Paula does?

I love how when it’s on the Food Network, it’s called “slow coastal Southern Drawl”. When I was in a speech class in college, or briefing in the military, my native North Carolina tongue was considered “hick”.
Guess I should’ve been a chef.

I think Paula is beautiful and about the right weight for her age...and pretty healthy too.
Not to mention a nice person. I’d rather watch her than some posters here, that’s for dang sure.

WTF!?!?
Is wrong with you?
She has normal female hips. I mean, one minute it’s conservative values (I was reading a thread about folks having 3 kids) but if a woman is built to have kids, she’s got a big butt.
Sheesh.

A few weeks ago I had the ‘hots’ for bread pudding. Don’t know why, I just did.
I went to the Food Network and looked over zillions of recipes.
Finally chose Paula Deen’s.
WOW excellent.
