It is sort of like moving the furniture around.

You move it here,
you move it there,
you add a lamp,
you remove the lamp,
you move the coffee table against the wall,
you move it back to the middle of the room....

And you end up with most of the furniture back at its original location.

Apparently, you can go back to the old way in your preferences.

Go to your “Account” click on “My Preferences” & change the pings to automatic.

You're right, the puke green font is ugly and looks ridiculous.

I would think that Freepers are smart enough to figure out which posts are their own when they see their nicknames as the posters. (Besides just remembering their own words.)

I find that "explanation" quite condescending and insulting.

Besides, I can think of better ways to tell me something was my post other than making my words look like puke.

On top of that, the new one-color font lacks the features of a) distinguishing text when used as a link and b) distinguishing an unclicked link from a clicked link.

And the non-shrunken font helps make the whole page more cluttered-up and difficult to take in.

I wish they would just put my My Comments page back the way it was before.

I'll add that "Koran green" is the Muslims' favorite color.

The first time I saw the puke, I thought the site had been hacked by Islamicists.
