We can't have refineries in the US since the oil companies won't build new ones due to the billions of dollars they shelled out for lawsuits for pollution, human health problems etc.
Every dollar and every minute spent on greening projects reduces our standard of living tenfold. Every gallon of ethanol starves a hundred hungry men of food. The green and environmental movement is playing havoc with our security, safety, standard of living and survivability on this planet.
$3.00 a gallon gasoline will destroy our economy in the long run. There is no substitute for oil and when we buy foreign, expensive, euro based oil we are throwing money away and are paying our enemies abroad.

Did you look at some of the other polls on that site? I saw one that asked about the GWOT being justified after the 9/11 attacks, a majority answered that it is.
Another poll asked about concealed weapons on campus making it more secure and again a majority answered yes.
Seems BSU has a pretty intelligent student body.

2. Hey I still have the Time Magazine from grade school in which I was told that we were headed into an ice age - I HATE the cold.
I don’t think we can predict local weather past a few days with the knowledge we have, much less predict something for the entire planet with billions of inputs and variables, most of which we don’t even know about.
On the other hand, I believe we should be good stewarts of nature, but global warming, nah!
