PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- A Florida man is accused of ripping off his wife's prosthetic leg during a fight after leaving a sports bar.

Officers in Port St. Lucie said they found a 29-year-old woman in a sport utility vehicle Tuesday night with a bruised eye and missing a leg and pants.

"He ripped my leg off," the woman told police.

Police then questioned the woman's husband, Luis Ramirez, 35, who said he was arguing with his wife after leaving a bar, TCPalm reported. He denied stealing her leg.

The woman told police that Ramirez became possessed and started screaming.

I spent about five years as a LEO in a small town. We regularly had to ‘deal with’ a fella who had a tendency to imbibe a bit too much on a weekly basis. His god-fearin’ wife had lost a leg to diabetes, and so used a prosthesis. It was not at all uncommon to find the husband either walking home or still in the bar, with the wife’s leg. He said that was the only way he could be sure she wouldn’t follow him and nag him to stop drinking.
Yep, folks...you just can’t make this stuff up.

I told my former boyfriend about this woman's leg being stolen by her husband.. He said something that makes perfect sense! "When a woman gets her leg stolen it's probably because she was trying to use it as a weapon against the man!" LOL!
