The reason John McCain turned green is because he met a little boy in a penguin suit who spoke to him about global warming.
This came out while she had a guest on her show named Kris, and he also said that a paper recently compared McCain's energy policy to Obama's and McCain's is 99% of Obama's so the paper of course endorsed Obama's plan.
Our man is really a complete idiot.

For a child with no parents, a single mom is a huge improvement. If she had adopted a child who otherwise had a good chance of ending up in a two-parent home, I’d have a problem with it. But this is an orphan from Guatemala. Odds are overwhelming that, if Ingraham had not adopted her, she would grow up completely unloved and unwanted in a Third World cr@phole orphanage, if she managed to make it to adulthood at all.
Igraham has done a good thing here, and best of luck to her and her daughter.

Not sure I buy this. I'd have to see more than one source. There were a lot of rumors that Reagan used an astrologer to do his schedule. He laughed about it. Nancy was an astrology buff, IIRC, and sometimes Reagan would do a little tweaking to his schedule to placate her, but he didn't believe in astrology or use it to guide his decision-making.
McCain may have been touched by meeting a little boy, but I doubt he made policy decisions based upon it, although I don't discount the child making him think about a subject more deeply.

I find it impossible, yes IMPOSSIBLE to believe any person would make a decision as to his beliefs by hearing something from a child, whether dressed in a Penguin suit or not.
A story like this is floated for one simple reason, to outrage Conservatives and drive a wedge between him and them. It appears to work, at least here on FR because the anti McCain people are 100% willing to believe anyhting said about him from any source.
There is a pattern emerging of this sort of misinformation (possibly in this case). First the NYT tried it with a “possible” relationship he had with a lobbyist, then Huffington did the same by claiming she and 2 other provable liberals “heard” him say he didn't vote for Bush in 2000 or 2004. Now we have this. If there is a direct quote from McCain in which he claims this incident occurred AND it was the deciding factor in his decision re GW, then I will agree he is indeed suspect in more ways then I had imagined.

I wonder if he has any idea how dangerous that admitting to man made globull warming is. Once you set national policy as if it is true, then the envirowhackos will file lawsuits on literally EVERYTHING claiming that the threat of globull warming will cause habitat destruction of spotted wing snot fly and the narrow leaf sh*tweed. There will not be a single oil well drilled ANYWHERE inside the US. Nor will there be a single coal or natural gas fired power plant. And envirowhackos will dictate EVERYTHING that has even a remote link to CO2 emissions.

Three. Many EUropeans are openly hoping Obama will win and turn the USA into a facsimile of a EUropean state, and the Third World (especially moslem countries) is also backing him. Therefore a McCain win will really cheese them off. That’s something....isn’t it? /grasping for straws.

Not to be an evil person but I have a question. Are there not enough American babies that need homes that you go outside your country and basically usurp immigration laws and bring in another immigrant? What does that say to the families that are sitting in the waiting line to get in. What does that say to American babies/children that grow up in an orphanage to be thinking adults and wonder why all these foreign babies are brought here instead of them being chosen? I understand that there is an enormous amount of paperwork but it seems in a simplistic way that you are basically being a coyote if you adopt outside our country.
Kudos to her for adopting a child but I am just questioning the logic behind the choice.
Kind if like why pro sports teams continue to go out of the country for talent when there are enough boys just as good or better here to play basketball and baseball why do we need to go to Japan, Dominican Republic, Balkans etc...
