Jocelyn Kirsch, 22, and Edward K. Anderton, 25, of Everett have signed federal plea agreements that will likely send them to prison for several years, Kirsch's lawyer, Ronald Greenblatt, said Monday.

U.S. Attorney Patrick Meehad announced that charges stemming from the $120,000 scheme had been moved to federal court.

Since her arrest, Kirsch's friends and classmates have stepped forward to portray her as a serial liar who even masked her identity when she met the heir to the British throne at a student forum during his visit to Philadelphia last year; in a favorite myth, she told the prince she was Lithuanian.

Kirsch, a Drexel University student and the daughter of a North Carolina plastic surgeon, and her Ivy League graduate boyfriend enjoyed what Meehan called a "year of living dangerously."

The crime of ID theft is ruining lives all across the land.

Wouldn't it be great to hear our lawmakers stop yapping about global warming and put some effort into making this a serious offense with a long prison term and permenant consequences after release such as perpetual garnishment of wages, awards, SS, etc.?

I don't know, that guy looks guilty to me.

She, on the other hand, is as innocent as the day is long.

guilty.

Feel bad for those who had their IDs stolen.

This is one twisted young woman.

She obviously has the tools to lure hormone driven young men into her game. You have to wonder what these two would be up to if before too long they are not put away now. Thrill killing? Kidnapping for cash?

$120,000 is not all that much in an ID theft case. Stealing the IDs of your friends and acquaintances is not very common.

Wonder if the boob job was with stolen money or a gift from dad. If from dad, no wonder she is so shallow.
