I suppose that being in a rock band is like an incestuous sort of thing.... I did know about Stevie & Mick and about Patty Boyd with Harrison and Clapton.

She still looks good - I say this, and I’m less than half her age. Fleetwood Mac was an amazing group (still is).

Yes...I have about 10 songs of his on the Ipod. I actually wrote a parody of that song a while back called “Blind Girl shooting Darts”.

"Fleetwood Mac was an amazing group (still is)."

Only after the addition of Buckingham and Nicks, IMO.

In honor of the large number of hard Rock/Metal musicians on the list, I'm contributing the following. Glory in its wonder:

You can't kill the metal
The metal will live on
Punk-Rock tried to kill the metal
But they failed, as they were smite to the ground
New-wave tried to kill the metal
But they failed, as they were stricken down to the ground
Grunge tried to kill the metal Ha,hahahahaha
They failed, as they were thrown to the ground
Aargh! yaow! [x2]

[Singing]

No-one can destroy the metal
The metal will strike you down with a vicious blow
We are the vanquished foes of the metal
We tried to win for why we do not know

New-wave tried to destroy the metal, but the metal had its way
Grunge then tried to dethrone the metal, but metal was in the way
Punk-rock tried to destroy the metal, but metal was much too strong
Techno tried to defile the metal, but techno was proven wrong
Yea!

Metal!
It comes from hell!

Oh, absolutely. Lindsey Buckingham is one of the most creative guitarists that’s ever walked the planet as far as I’m concerned.

Ditto. Without Lindsey, I'd never have heard of Fleetwood Mac...the old Peter Green Blues band.

Fleetwood Mac - 1968

It was so cool that Led Zeppelin broke up after John Bonham died, rather then replacing him.
