Thanks for posting!
I’m looking forward as well, though I cannot imagine a more exciting round than round 3!
I think it comes on tv at 2 PM CDT on NBC........
NASCAR at 1 PM CDT on TNT..........
Hope al the fathers enjoy their Father’s day.....
I’m not a Tiger fan, but man, what a show he put on last night.
tiger woods’ play on the back nine in the third round despite the pain in his left knee was brilliant. i don’t believe there has ever been a golfer that can putt as well as he does.
Hey,Jack sank a few and Bobby Locke was no slouch;)
After Woods wins the Open, then the NBA FINALS are on..
Chillin out on A Sunday with a kegger.
Had to listen for updates on my solar powered radio.
Hope Westwood (or anybody) hangs in there and makes a match out of it.
Ping
you can add crenshaw to nicklaus and locke, but tiger is the best at reading greens and making clutch putts IMO :)
Still remember Ben sinking that putt at Augusta.
he did it on that tough sloping green on the 10th hole. that was a magnificent putt. hard to forget that one :)
Johnny Miller is an idiot. He says Tiger is doing this with “smoke and mirrors”, that if it wasn’t for the three holes where Tiger recorded eagles, Tiger would be “back in the pack”.
Well, Johnny, you can point to two or three holes in most tournaments to explain a win or a loss. Just because Tiger is not leading by double digits doesn’t mean it is smoke and mirrors. IMO, this may be Tigers greatest effort in a long list of triumphs.
Miller never has cared for Tiger, is jealous of his success and couldn’t carry Tigers bags in a hotel let alone a golf course.
I like Johnny Miller, great golfer, brings gravitas to the broadcast.
Worth repeating.
BTTT
Game on!
Not a very good start for Tiger...
Rocco looking good.
Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the golf announcers are using what seems like voice-actuated mikes this year. I hear this annoying rushing sound every time they speak, and I’m watching on HDTV.
Anyway, I hope Mediate, Westwood and Ogilvie continue to keep this interesting. These tournaments are the most fun to watch, when the ground crew make the best struggle for par.
Tiger showed his instep on that 10th hole drive. De-stressing that leg and hit it right down the middle. Didn’t show it on the approach shot but it was a very relaxed swing. Finding a way to win.
yanked to left,playoff.
I’m pulling for Rocko.
I usually don’t pull for anyone in these matches, just want to see a good fight, but I hope Rocco wins this, it would be refreshing. But Tiger is so dang relentless, you can see that he is not using knee pain as any kind of excuse.
Thank you for correcting me on the spelling of his first name. I never noticed before.
Grace, not works.......
Here we are at the 15th, and Rocco up one just drilled his tee shot. Gotta love it.
That’s interesting. I saw Rush live once way back in the day, late 70’s because I liked their Hemispheres album the best. Honestly, they stunk live. They sounded horrible. Lee’s voice was cracking, and their sound board guy had no clue. It was just loud, distorted noise. Their opening act was 38 Special, who sounded awesome. You could hear every note, and understand the lyrics. They blew Rush off the stage. “Hold on loosely, and don’t let go...”.....
Looking at a birdie on 17 now, and having the time of his life, laughing it up.
This is fun to watch. Mediate now facing maybe the putt of his life to put this away, Tiger looking at par. Great stuff.
Rocco’s gotta make or it’s a playoff
"Isn't this fun...."
Playoff coming. I can’t imagine neither Woods nor Westwood getting a birdie on 18.
On the outside, anyway...On the inside, I'll bet he feels like he has a bowling ball in his gut.
Rocco just parred out, now Tiger must work one of his miracles....nope, left it left....now 18th for all the marbles....Woods must birdie.....
Westwood in the trap...diminishing his chance.....Tiger now....not happy.....in the trap too.....hmmmmmmm....is Rocco going to do this??????Wow.
Let me know when they come back from the break. My station is doing a severe weather report right now.
Rocco has got it,It was good to watch.
Yep, good for him, I really like his attitude.......
Tiger was struggling all day but still stayed in the race. Good for him too........
Whoa, its not over yet. I didn't realize the 18th was a par 5...........still life for the Tiger......
I still say playoff. Two birdie putts.
Now Tiger.....his last chance.....he must knock it stiff from the primary rough....iron....incredible shot, maybe 15 feet, you know he has a chance from that range.....Westwood matches him, beautifully-struck approach, about the same distance for a putt......
It’s down to one putt.
18 hole playoff tomorrow.
OMG!!! He made the putt........
Rocco isn’t surprised.
Unbelievable
He's a machine, it's almost unfair.....Rocco sez "I knew he'd make it...I knew it...."
Darn, this will probably be Golf Channel only tomorrow, and I don't have cable. It is unlikely that Rocco will hold up in a playoff anyway. Darn.
They’ll have to put this on national TV. I wonder what the tee time is....
