I wonder if either of the candidates wants to get elected? Seems like they want to alienate as many potential voters as possible.

Seems as though the "coveted Hispanic vote" is all that matters. The rest of us (including Hispanics who oppose illegal immigration) be d****d.

Mexico does not have aright to invade America via immigration— legal and illegal.

Thanks Rosanna. Your post is merely the latest proof we have that John McCain is unfit to be President.

If your best neighbor continued to break onto your property or into your home, take your food, siphon gas out of your car, leave trash inside and outside of your house, occupy one of your bedrooms against your objections, steal money out of your pocket to educate his children and pay for health care for his family, I'd hate to think what your worst neighbors were doing.

McCain is an absolute fool when it comes to Mexico. No, I'd say he's more like an absolute saboteur on behalf of Mexico when it comes to our nation.

McCain is a danger to this nation. He will have absolutely no opposition to any leftist globalist policy he wants to pass, and there will be plenty.

Thank you for your post.

McCain is a loser, a liar and a traitor and I look forward to his defeat in November. I will celebrate his defeat...

And you, sir, aren't fit to walk a step in McCain's dirty socks! Traitor? Just whom did he betray while serving his country and his Navy, only to end up in the hell hole of an Hanoi POW cell (and, don't even bother to try to counter with the Internet BS about his POW stay); Liar? Who did he lie to, I don't recall anything like "I'm not a crook" (Nixon) or "I invented the internet," or even something as outrageous as "I did not have sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky"? And, as far as being a loser, it will be the American public, IMO, if Obama becomes president--but then you can wallow in more of your hatred.

I am a Hispanic that wants the rule of law enforced. Allowing 12-24 million illegal aliens who violate our laws into our country with the gift of AMNESTY is NOT what’s good for America, while the American taxpayer foots the bill for the benefits package!!

They (i.e. supply) are coming here for jobs (i.e. demand). It is a pure and simple rule of economics: Stop the demand, and you will stop the supply. McCain wants to secure the borders; he has stated that time and again (which is different than anything you'll ever hear from the Democrats) But what you don't hear is anyone (GOP or Dems) ACTUALLY (though they do talk about it) going after the "demanders," and therefore the root of the drive for amnesty, BECAUSE they are the money conduits (Walmart, Kmart, Swift, Armor, Del Monte, Green Giant, General Mills, Golden Corral, Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, small business owners and farmers, unions and corporations, ad infinitum that supply campaigns and keep politicians in power).

You are correct.

If Ted Kennedy hadn’t skewed immigration for the last 43 years, putting the UK/Western Europe LAST and humping every 3rd World cesspool for people, this also wouldn’t be an issue.

That, coupled with the Refugee Act signed by Carter forever made the US a pit.

You need to make enough money to live in a gated community as the wild newcomers love to rob, kill, rape and carjack.

I have 2 kids and want 3 more, we need to offset the anchor babies...

Then we should end all the “race-specific” benefits and programs, and base it on need and/or ability.

Right.

Actually, I don't want to get near McInsane or his dirty socks. McCain is not a traitor because of what he did while a POW (I have no knowledge of what he actually did and I will not judge him based on unsubstantiated rumors), but for his complicity in amnesty and in failing to protect American sovereignty. He also betrayed the Republican Party for failing to support both Frist and Bush in orchestrating the Gang of Fourteen. He is a liar to the Republican primary voters because he said (after his failed Kennedy bill) he would secure the border first and build a fence and now he is back to his lovefest with amnesty and La Raza. He is a loser because of his flagrant and continual flip flops which in part will cause his defeat in the election.

>>>Now do you see why we can’t vote for your guy? He’s isn’t even American, he doesn’t even LIKE American’s. We don’t like him either..>>>>>>>

#1) stupid to say McCains “not American” or “doesn’t like Americans”.
#2) simple thing:
an election: 2 guys running; one is a Communist....and one has a position on immigration that you dislike.....

Shouldn’t be hard to choose which is best for the country.

#3) McCain agrees with most of the major things that WE Conservatives stand for ( No Abortion, Lower Taxes, the War on Terror, Military, Guns etc)....Disagreeing on one or two political points ...(especially ones that haven’t even been settled yet), should not disqualify a canidate.
Being a communist should!

But discussion is good! and I welcome your thoughts!

Lord help us all! I was MORE interested in John Mc Cain reaching out to me as a CONSERVATIVE!

First, thank you for all the hard work you do on behalf of me and all of the base conservatives. Also thank you for going to the trouble to get this report first hand and for making it available to us to read. Next, I think more and more conservatives every day are starting to awaken from their slumber and are starting to see McCain for the dangerous liberal Maverick that is and has always been.

A couple of his statements you reported that are worth repeating:

"I was proud to work for Comprehensive Immigration Reform and If I am elected President I assure you that in 2009 I will ask Congress to pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform."

<...He repeated I assure you that I will work for Comprehensive Immigration Reform....

Either a citizen is part of the solution or they are a part of the problem. Folks like you I consider to be a part of the solution. From my point of view it has never been a better time, in my voting life at least, for a third party conservative candidate to make a strong emergence and showing with so many dissatisfied conservatives and Independents of all stripes. Sooner or later that is going have to happen if we as a nation are to survive.

I’m a Hispanic Republican and I have to admit I’m a little disappointed in the posts I’ve read here. One point that was not reported in this “VERY GOOD POST~!” and was the most important to me was the fact McCain acknowledged the Hispanic men and women that have served and died for our great nation. I don’t support amnesty either but these posts are getting RIDICULOUS..”Juan”..”Mexico Lost the war” This blog/posts aren’t anti-immigration but anti Mexican/Mexico. Do you guys really hate Mexicans that much??? ALSO.....If you guys hate John McCain a true American Hero that much then vote for Obama and make this immigration problem worse!

Got a request from Juan yesterday for money. I checked “other” and wrote in...2000 carbon credits.

Back in the mid 90's before I finally had enough of the RNC RINO party I would write out a check for two cents and write on the donation form that this amount was all that I thought todays Republican Party was worth.

if they cashed it it cost them about $5 to process it. If they mailed it back uncashed then it would cost them about $2.75+ in postage and office handling to return it. In either case after two or three times they finally got the idea and their junk begging stopped.

If 60% of the illegals were from one country in Eastern Europe then that's probably where the anger would be directed at.

Worse yet it makes no sense at all for a presidential candidate who needs the votes of those in his own party if he has any chance of winning to be kissing up to people who are largely here illegally, lean socialist, and will never vote for him no matter what pie-in-the-sky promises are made.

Something tells me mccain is doing this because it's his natural constituency. He would have done us all a big favor had he joined the democratic party when he had wanted to.

BUT I bet you are one of the Hispanics that applauds illegal aliens get 25 million dollars a year of Illinois Taxpayers money to help them become citizens and OUR veterans get 4 million for a program for tramtic head injuries in the Iraq war. Did you complain? Are you even aware of the plight of OUR veterans NO MATTER WHAT THE ETHNICITY??

Anti Mexico? maybe we are tired of pressing 1 for English.

Welcome to the club. John McCain parachutes in here, long enough to be able to tell everyone he is from a border state, then catches the next flight out. He never hesitates to tell those of us who live on the border that we don't know what we're talking about, when it comes to border issues.

They (i.e. supply) are coming here for jobs (i.e. demand). It is a pure and simple rule of economics: Stop the demand, and you will stop the supply. If only it were that simple, meandog. In reality, it's much more sinister than that. In Indianapolis, as recently as 6 years ago, there were American drywallers, roofers, painters, etc. working here. That is not the case now. A walk through construction sites of new homes and businesses will leave you wondering when you left America and landed in a foreign land. Americans are being DISPLACED from their jobs. It isn't that these are jobs "Americans won't do" as they were doing them until very recently! A brother who owns a successful painting company is now facing hard times because his competitors (many of them his friends) started using illegal alien laborers over the last three years. My brother refuses to do this and he can't bid jobs nearly as cheaply as they can, so his contracts - contracts he has had for 10 years and more - are being given to others. American workers who obey the law are being punished and made to face unfair competition simply BECAUSE they follow the law. McCain wants to secure the borders; he has stated that time and again (which is different than anything you'll ever hear from the Democrats) Both Dems and Reps have stated that they want to "secure the borders," but neither have any intention of doing so, IMO, or if they do, they intend to do it ONLY AFTER granting amnesty to the 30 million illegals already here (and their extended families, as well) in the hopes that they can sway more voters over to their side (not America's side, just THEIR side) in the future. But what you don't hear is anyone (GOP or Dems) ACTUALLY (though they do talk about it) going after the "demanders," and therefore the root of the drive for amnesty, BECAUSE they are the money conduits (Walmart, Kmart, Swift, Armor, Del Monte, Green Giant, General Mills, Golden Corral, Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, small business owners and farmers, unions and corporations, ad infinitum that supply campaigns and keep politicians in power). When politicians do discuss taking on the "demanders," as many have, they are faced with unbelievable opposition and demonization from fellow Republicans (RINOs, like McCain), Dems, Chambers of Commerce, trade associations, ethnocentric groups like LaRaza, Maldef, etc. They are excoriated and villified publicly, all with the help, most usually, of an unmerciful, pro-amnesty news media.

Kid, what do you expect? Are we supposed to love Mexico even though they encourage their own citizens to venture el norte illegally so they don’t have to take care of them or address the corruption that exists there; the country that calls us xenophobic, racist, bigots merely because we want our laws obeyed and enforced; the country that is constantly meddling in US politics via their Mexican consuls?

Why did McCain have to acknowledge Hispanic men and women have served and died for our country? Everyone knows that, yet he felt it important to point it out in this closed door meeting. Why? Because he’s pandering to the RACIAL BIASES he expected to exist in that room, and he wasn’t disappointed. Everyone should find that shameful, IMO. AMERICAN men and women have served and died for this country and they should all be honored at all times without compartmentalizing their honorable deeds to pat one race or ethnicity on the back to the exclusion of all others. It’s quite sickening if you ask me.

I don’t believe the issue is Hispanics, the problem is ILLEGALS, ILLEGAL EMPLOYERS, the CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, and other SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS. Since the ILLEGALS’ infamous L.A. march displaying their foreign flags demanding their rights United States citizens are distrustful of any organized protest demanding anything. The situation will remain this way until our National Borders are secured and our Immigration Laws are Enforced. Our Elitist Politicians at the demand of their Elitist Political Contributors, Chamber of Commerce, and other Special Interest Groups will not allow the problem to be solved for fear of losing a dollar.

Just follow the money my friend. The “political contributors” will get their “cheap labor” and not have to furnish any “benefits” because all the “benefits” for the ILLEGALS will be furnished by the taxpayers enforced and implemented by “our politicians” and their “men”(see Johnny Satan)!!

The point is not if they are “good or hardworking people”, the point being they are here illegally! They do drive down our wages and take from the United States treasury for the benefit of the very few(ILLEGAL EMPLOYERS see ROBERT CAMP) who privatize the profits for themselves at the expense of the vast majority.

I couldn’t agree with you more, lccat, the problem is not Hispanics - it’s illegal aliens who come from all around the world, unscrupulous employers, a government that condones law-breaking because those who can give them large contributions can make an extra buck, and special interest groups whose very existence depend on keeping a large “victimized” community to coddle and keep angry.

I completely agree with your post in its entirety.

Having said all of that and pointing out that the problem is NOT Hispanics, I must also point out that anyone who speaks out against illegal immigration is IMMEDIATELY accused of being racist against “brown-skinned Hispanics/Latinos” by....not illegal alien Chinese, Russians, Africans, Korean, etc.....but by Hispanics/Latinos. It isn’t that I am “against” Hispanics, it’s that they are always the ones to get in my face, call me a racist simply because I want our laws enforced and our borders closed, while they demand that our laws continue to be ignored for the sake of THEIR own kind. Racism is definitely a part of this issue - it just happens to exist in those groups, the most vocal of which are Hispanic/Latino, who are calling everyone else a racist.

McCain ... betrayed the Republican Party for failing to support both Frist and Bush in orchestrating the Gang of Fourteen.

Support Bush? The screwball "Mission Accomplished" idiot that is REALLY the traitor destroying the Republican party because he (as the case with his "Read My Lips" old man before him who somehow was able to pull a stalemate out of overwelming victory) is the nincompoop that cannot figure out how to win a war against a third-rate country. I wouldn't support Bush even if his Crawford ranch was being taken over by Mexican MS-13 youth gangs and he found himself having to pay extortion money just to live in one of the barns.
