A 24-year-old English teacher at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach resigned amid an investigation into a possible sexual relationship with a graduating senior, authorities said.
Heather March submitted her resignation letter on May 28, 12 days after the school district opened an investigation based on information from another student, according to Palm Beach County School District documents.
News of March's resignation follows a series of teacher-student sex scandals at Santaluces High School.
Revelations emerged earlier this week that teacher Natalie Fraxedas, 23, was fired after admitting she had sex with an 18-year-old student.

The article says that the investigating detective was unable to determine the age of the student in the kissing case. Some detective!
Doesn’t mention the gender of the student.

Is it the abundant sun down there that turns these women teachers into pedophiles?
Maybe not a pedophile, but a teacher/student sexual relationship isn’t good.

The Student involved was a male according to an article at WPTV. Also indicates the case is closed with no charges being filed.
Not really counting this one but plenty of others where the student was underaged.
Regardless, a teacher shouldn’t be making out with a student whether he/she is barely legal or not.
She’s 24 he’s 18, It is no big deal.
When I was in high school senior girls would have nothing to do with junior ( younger ) boys ; they wanted guys their own age or older . Now we’ve got hot 24 year old teachers going after guys 6 years younger . Yikes !
It’s a big deal when it’s a teacher and a student. If they didn’t have that teacher/student relationship then it would be no big deal.
Maybe it’s all the Spring Break activity that goes on in Florida. Maybe it attracts more then it’s share of those with the Girl’s Gone Wild types.

Any teacher SHOULD be fired for having sex with a student at the school where he or she works... But you're right. There should be no crime for a 23 year old woman having sex with an 18 year old MAN (not child!)
