CCTV:New York,June 10/08:A school prank gone wrong on Long Island is caught on tape.
Police said a group of students, dismissed early from Uniondale High School during the June 10th heat wave vandalized a 7-11 store.
They're seen grabbing items off shelves and throwing items on the floor. According to police, they also stole candy and beverages from the store.
Three teenagers are charged with riot and petty larceny.
It looks like they destroyed as much merchandise as they stole.

The result of a lack of parental supervision and conservative principles.
there was a melee in Seattle early Sunday morning and it involved a couple of men stomping and stabbing two girls who they thought were cutting them off in the parking garage...at least 40 people joined in the facus......very curious if anyone from Seattle knows about this little riot......seems it fits a pattern....
Some “prank.”
maybe they need air-conditioned fema trailers to help ease their kleptomaniac ways? (do i need a /sarc tag?)
Thugs-In-Training...Barrack Hussein Mugabe supporters all.
Only three were charged?
Warner Wolf: "Black"
Imus: "Well, there you go!"
Racism. Yeah.
Only a crazy liberal press would call this “a school prank gone wrong”
A few bullseyes from the clerk, and the story could have had a much happier ending, for the store, the school, society...
These government school outrage stories are almost always from schools that people would consider to be at least OK to good.
Uniondale is a lower middle class suburb on Long Island.
Thanks!
Would it be considered at least adequate, or is it a failing school such as those found in the inner cities?
Cyborg can give you the 411 on Uniondale.

I know. I used to live about 7 miles west of Uniondale. Uniondale is where I used to see concerts at the Nassau Coliseum.
60-70 thou,

Then definitely middle class but blacks are there in greater proportion than in the general population.
Sounds to me like it is less a school problem and more a character/moral issue.
My sister went there the last year of high school when she had enough of Catholic school. She did very well. It’s not a failing gubbermint school at least it wasn’t when she attended. There are kids there who aren’t white who graduate and do go on to ivy league schools and make something of themselves. I’m not sure how it is now. It really is a combo of parents working to pay the outrageous cost of living and the other set...those who don’t care. They should have never let these kids out early with working parents and all.
Oh yeah, another reason is folks moving out from the cities. I don’t know how they can afford it but there are A LOT of cars up and down Cedar Street. I KNOW not all own a house either. Lots of illegal renting,etc.etc.
Inquiring minds want to know what the school is doing about this. Maybe I can find out and report back if I have time. Uniondale is a nice place to live but all of Long Island is getting ridiculous with all the taxes.
I really don’t know what to say. I just thank God I was brought up in a family with morals and attended a catholic school for my formative years. They would have chewed me up and spit me out in public.
I’m willing to bet that number has tripled.
If only they’d report more on the embarassment that is Roosevelt High School. My sister was substitute teacher and her stories of teacher apathy and parental uninvolvement astounded me.
No doubt raised by losers.
Just great.
