Frugal living and penny pinching

I offer here a list of spots you mught use to arm yourself and your family against current economic pressures. Please feel free.

I don't work for any of these places. I just think things may tighten up before they loosen up, and would like to have a discussion aimed at helping people out.

one thing to add....Pork.....pork is a great versatile meat and you can do almost anything with it....grind it and make your own Italian sausage....or make breakfast sausage.....slow cook it in a crock pot ,drain, and add bbq sauce and cook a little longer...fantastic...

and pork is relatively cheap...go to the bigger stores or the stores that service the restaurants.....we have a "cash and carry " store here....they usually will have pork butts for 99cents a pound....

Yes, thanks.

I don’t know how young families just starting out or older people on fixed incomes are weathering the current situation. Without a lot of community support and close-knit families who are also physically close, this is quite a patch of rough water.

Been saving an average of $15.00 per grocery trip clipping coupons from the Sunday newspaper and the Tuesday mail coupons.
