Well, I'm just home from the ER and my sister Michelle needs your prayers. She had a teriible headache at work today. By the time she got home she was achy all over and feverish.
She drove herself to the ER about 7:30. She had to be in a LOT of pain to actually want to go to the hospital.
She called my Mother when she went in and made her promise not to call me because I was planning to leave town for a weeks vacation fishing and carrying on.
Thank goodness, Mom didn't listen to her.
When I caught up with her in the ER, she told me that she had a bladder infection and that they had done a CT scan to see if she might have any stones.
They found a hard mass, about 4 cm, on her liver.
She was admitted and is awaiting further tests in the AM.
Mom knows about the infection, she doesn't know about the mass. It would kill her. I don't know what I'm going to say to her when I see her tomorrow morning.
Have a good thought tonight, for my dear sister, Michelle.

Mom is not a lurker here I trust.
We deal with medical issues alot in our life and being blessed with a good team of care providers is half the battle.
I always find it calming when we are in house to have Holy Communion brought to us or praying with the in house minister.
What were you going fishing for?
We use to fish and it is so stress relieving miss it sooo much but due to 9/11 they closed down the WC fishing peir.

I’m content to wait and hope. However, Michelle is a Life Underwriter. She see this stuff all the time and she is not real hopeful.

A little over three years ago, I was up all night for the exact same reason. I seriously mean "exactly"...only it was my Dad.
Seemingly unrelated problem, scan caught the liver mass, late in the evening...we'll know more tomorrow...etc.
It was surreal; I remember that entire night in detail...as though it was last night.
Prayers up for you for the Lord to calm your racing thoughts.
Prayers up for your sis; I'm sure they are making certain that she has a peaceful sleep.
God give you strength for tomorrow. Hopefully, it is a false alarm.
