My weekend was far less edacious than you’d expect, leaving me in a voracious state come Monday morning. And a Salad for lunch and with Dinner really doesn’t do the trick.

I’ve got T-shirts older than that. ;-)

Salad never does the trick. It’s only purpose is to prop up the balsamic vinegar cartel.

oh my gosh that is ADORABLE, she will love it! her uncle sent her a gift card to Barnes and Noble for her bday which is a great gift, but unfortunately it was an AMERICAN GIRL themed gift card, which was a bit insulting to a 14 year old! though she does secretly wish she had a little sister that she could take to see the Kit Kittridge movie that is out now. We read those books together when she was small and she has the doll. she said she wants to see it when it comes out on dvd but can’t possibly walk into the theater to see it at her age!

We bought our daughter this cute, tiny grill for her apt - unfortunately it only cooks a few items at a time, so our Fourth of July feast took a while to cook.....

You could always get chicken or ribs and do a Yankee “pre-cook” inside and use the grill for putting the sauce and char on them.

Yes, I’ve done ribs that way. This way they got the smokey flavor first and it turned out ok. Mainly we just wanted her to feel comfortable about the grill - sometimes using charcoal is a bit intimidating at first.

As a matter of perspecitve, Americans spend less each year on Presidential elections than they do on yogurt.
Then again, yogurt is live and active.

A nurse that used to work for me was quite well endowed and when the room was chilly, it was very plain that hers were on different levels. Perhaps her shirt was too tight. Although I never saw, I suspect when hers were unfettered that gravity had a significant effect.

For a day off from work it sure sounds like she’s keeping busy!!!!
Mine is writing thank you notes and cards right now for her b’day presents. My aunt went totaly over board this year. She had asked for an idea about something “fun” as opposed to educational and I suggested a game for her nintendo DS, which of course my 75 year old aunt has no clue about, but she is resourceful and did some research and came up with 3 titles and asked me if Jax had any of them. She didn’t. Well bless her heart, she didn’t just pick one of them, she ordered all 3! For the 2 weeks before her b’day I got to know the UPS drivers around here quite well :)
