My hero
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Asher Baier, 5, prepares for a neighborhood bike parade at River Heights Elementary School Thursday morning in honor of Independence Day. Baier attended the parade with his mother, Tara. His father just returned from a three-year tour of duty in Iraq and is scheduled to return to Iraq shortly.

Young Asher understands liberty and current events better than the presumed Democrat presidential nominee.
And he is more a patriot than most of the Dem party.
Kudos for expressing yourself, Asher. And I thank your dad for serving so honorably. He and his fellow servicemen are my heroes, too.

No unit does a three year tour...The father had to have volunteered to stay in Iraq several times and had to have volunteered to go back so soon (nearly all units get at least 12 months homestation). Not taking anything away from him but it sounds like it was his choice...

I thank him for his service, but if it were me, I'd spend some time with Asher. He seems like a good man.

It looks like Asher there is waiting for his dad to take some time to show him how to ride without the trianing wheels.
