In a letter to Mr Jones in 2003, Cardinal Pell said his claims of sexual assault could not be substantiated, going against the advice of church investigators who were looking into the matter.
Last night, the program revealed a recorded phone conversation in which Father Goodall refuted any suggestion that a sexual encounter between him and Mr Jones was consensual, throwing further doubt over Cardinal Pell's decision to dismiss the claims of sexual assault.

The cardinal apparently didn’t believe this man who was 29 years old at the time. He did believe the children who were assaulted.
29? If some man came on to me at 29, or even as a teenager, I would have caved his skull in.
Yeah, it would probably be quicker to name the ones that are celibate ;)
