Late Friday night the Obama campaign said it would not sponsors the BAM Racing car of Ken Schrader at Pocono later this season.
"The Obama campaign will not be sponsoring a car in the Sprint Cup series, though we will continue to look for ways to reach out to voters and convey Senator Obama's message of change." Bill Burton, an Obama campaign spokesman, told The Associated Press.

I can only hope the NASCAR Nation got through to Hussein: we're not interested in socialism. You've got no message for us, unless you're going to tell us you have quit running for the office of "Messiah".

Heads up. Hussein got BLACK FLAGGED...oops, was that racist?
To: Recovering_Democrat
Guess the Hussein camp couldn't get their immunizations in time.

Obama changed his mind again? What a surprise.

I sent an e-mail to BAM, explaining how the Dems would love to shut down auto racing under the guise of fuel conservation.

The false messiah needs a diaper change. All this greenhorn and his millionaire wife do is piss and moan about how bad things are. If they had half as much confidence in the great people of this nation as they have in themselves, we'd all be a lot better off.

Nah, chances are, somebody on the Obamessiah’s staff finally realized that the 49 car doesn’t tend to make the field very often these days, and decided it’d be throwing money away.

Some leftist/marxist gang probably protested that NASCAR is not PC enough, what with it being Whitey’s basketball and all.

I bet they were unable to find a driver. I mean what self respecting NASCAR driver would set foot on his accelerator?

There are no semiblack, partial hispanic, teachers union lesbian drivers. Anything else would be unacceptable to drive the Prius in a NASCAR race.

The whole nation did. It dominated a news cycle, all the reporting on that event. < /s>

I watch the Nascar race’s as often as I can, good sport.
Was talking with my UPS delivery man and, he informed me it cost UPS fifty five million to sponsor a car. I haven’t read any post regarding the cost to sponsor a car.

55 million is about right for a NASCAR team. Lot's of dough, but UPS gets its $55,000,000 back in value with fans - it's advertising.
His Obammaness seems more suited to sponsor an F-1 team though:
Run by Euro trash weenies, dependent upon US corporate sponsorship (advertising on cars) and for the constructors (Mercedes, Toyota, Ferrari, Honda and BMW) the US is their number ONE market. But the US is not allowed a race but Bahrain and China have acceptable venues and as such races.
I guess His Obammaness can't come up with the $400,000,000 for a F-1 team either - it WOULD be money better spent for him though.
(PS I AM a F-1 fan.)

Truth be told they know they didn’t earn anything on their own merits.
That makes them bitter as I find are most affirmative action recipients.

This wouldn’t have been a good idea on nobamas part. Obviously this car with Schrader behind the wheel would have been booed so badly it would have been pathetic. The car as usual would have not finished the race. And nobama realizes their was no way his cronies could have spun this into a racial or politically incorrect happening, it would have looked like another guns and bibles thing. This was a no win deal from the start for the “magic negro”.

The campaign probably saw the price tag and realized that they would be throwing a large chuck of cash down a Black Hole.

In addition to that, the car is a Toyota. “Support Obama” on the side of a Toyota would not look good to all us rednecks. On second thought, I wish he would have done it.
