Dr Who: Boring episode...
Stargate Atlantis: I really enjoyed it. It is sad to Sam go. The movie looks awesome.

I’ve seen the 2 part finale of Dr. Who...it’s fantastic. Was this week’s episode the one where he’s on some shuttle visiting a “tourist” spot...if so, that one was boring!!!

I've been trying to avoid hearing about the finale, but I hear that they're throwing everything at it, including the kitchen sink and lots of crossover crunchy goodness.
This week was a bit boring. There was no "there" there. Probably the weakest of the season.

Yes it was.. The only good part was seeing Rose for a few seconds warning him about something.

A bit off topic, but Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer (#6) is the new costar of Burn Notice

The first episode of the two part finale is amazing. The second episode is great, but it can’t live up to the cliffhanger. I lost sleep over that one.

All I can say is that everything that could be thrown into the finale was! It was fun, intriguing and nostalgic. I, personally think this season, overall, has been the best in a loooong time!
And Kevin, as far as Rose, you’ll be seeing more of her!

Fiona is so frakkin' hot. Yes Gabrielle Anwar is hot (Rules Somebody). But I think she may be leaving the show, based on dialog in the first show of season 2.

I’ve never liked Dr. Who. And I’m only getting caught up on Stargate Atlantis, season 1, thanks to Netflix. lalalalalala I am not listening!

I didn’t think it was boring, just different. As a Gallifreyan, The Doctor has always held a deep affinity for humanity. This episode depicted the dark side of some human beings. Judging by the writing of the revived programming, this could be a setup for a future pithy crisis of faith in his adopted compatriots.

Ive never liked Dr. Who. And Im only getting caught up on Stargate Atlantis, season 1, thanks to Netflix. It is just the opposite with me. I've been a fan of Doctor Who for over twenty-five years and can't even watch more than ten minutes of Stargate Atlantis.

I’m only on the start of season 4 of Stargate Atlantis, but I watch the sci-fi channel all the time and I’ve seen enough promos to more or less figure out what’s been going on. However, I was SO happily surprised to see Jewel Staite on the show as the one doctor -the first time I saw her, I kept thinking “she sounds like someone from Buffy, I just can’t remember who...” before I finally realised she was in Firefly.
Anyways, that brought up a question: What exactly does the expression “five by five” mean? Shortly after watching a Stargate Atlantis episode where one of the characters said it, I went into my living room, and my roommates were watching an episode of Buffy where one of the characters kept saying it a lot, so that made me really curious.

5x5 is the lingo used for "I understand you perfectly" in situations other than radio communication, or the equivalent of "Loud and Clear" in WWII or "Roger that" most currently.
