Good morning, All, from Las Vagas. Vacationing all week here. I have a fantasy that some day I will run into Rush or Bill Bennett on the strip here, lol! I recently built my first laptop to bring and for the first time I am connected away from home. In the past, I had too many withdrawals from FR and such that I decided it would be worth investing in a laptop.
LOL, can’t even spell Vegas. No, I have not been imbibing adult beverages at this time of the morning.

This Brett Favre thing continues to grow. That fellow should have stayed retired. Latest info out there is that the Packers want him back, but he'd have to now compete for the starting position against Aaron Rodgers. I think that saves him face, and gives him a chance to get back into everyone's good graces.

Got to tell ya’ll something about Farve you prehaps do not know. In his new home town, Hattisburg, MS he has a very big organiation to help deprived children but as of now he is ‘busy’ talking to some folks. This information comes from his head of the organization as D called his private # given for him to be reached at the organization. He wants to take time off with his wife also. D is going to get someting from him for the ‘Back to School’ meeting for foster children, children in shelters, tell you he sure has goine up several notches in my book.

It is really weird. I can take long deep breaths when I think about it. No impedement. But sometimes it feels as if a band is about my chest and I have to push against that band. It happens when I’ve been sings, or speaking, or exerting my body (like walking down the driveway to get the mail).

Farve sure sounds like a wonderful man. It seems to me that he has to say good-bye to football. It must have been the primary activity of his life; I don’t mean priority but the #1 means to acheive his goals; and he loved it. I think it must be hard for him to walk away and is trying to strike a deal so that he can still be involved. I remember that when I left college and realized that more than likely I would never again be in such a great performing group. That put me in a depression for a long time.
That sounds like so much fun, it’s been years since I’ve been to a fair.
Hope they all get blue and purple ribbons.
I love county fairs! It is a good time to display all the handiwork and talents. It is wonderful to see the diversity of interests.

There isn't a Packer fan here in Wisconsin who wouldn't love to see him at the helm again this fall.

One of my fav. memories is a vacation in LV. It was hotter ‘n hell and we would wake up, stay in the pool until noon, dress and hit the a/c’d casinos for food and the sights, then hit shows in the evening. Loved it.

No, no, no, no, no! The fingers are NOT dusky. I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear.
The very first thing that happened in the ER was checking the heart. They didn’t even complete the paperwork when they walked me into an exam room and hooked me up to an EKG machine. After they were satisfied that I wasn’t having a heart attack then, they took a blood sample to insure that I had never had a heart attack. Then they took a history and my bp was being monitored throughout. Before I left the ER they did a chest x-ray. The diagnosis that day was based on my history and the fact that I had a rumbling cough and shortness of breath when trying to talk.
That is what is puzzling about this thing. All the tests are coming back negative. Everything is within the normal parameters. I have no trouble drawing a breath when asked. I’m fine. Except I have trouble breathing.
“Dusky” means a darkened, bluish color. It indicates the patient isn’t getting enough oxygen.

He has done a lot for charity up here also. He & Deanna have always been much admired for their contributions to many, many charitable causes. All the more reason why we hate to see his reputation tarnished by all the controversy going on now.
