TROUBLED pop star Britney Spears has ended her custody battle that sees ex-husband Kevin Federline retain sole rights to her sons, OK! magazine has reported.
Federline's lawyer, Vince Kaplan, said the pair today signed a settlement to seal the deal.
"All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James," he said.
"Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. The agreement will be presented to the court in the morning for approval by the commissioner.
"Kevin is ecstatic and the boys are thriving," he reportedly told OK!

Hopefully for her, this is the bottom she needs to hit in order for her to start getting her life together. For most people in her condition, the only bottom left after this one is at the bottom of a 6’ hole.

Especially when his primary goal is the money that he will get from Britney not the welfare of those kids. Sad indeed. What is even sadder is that the media and our culture glorify those losers in Hollywood.

Maybe, (and I mean that in every sense of the word) he has been given a chance to man up and is rising to the challenge. He might not be perfect but if he's home for them to see him, he spends time with them and gives them something consistent then that's a heck of a lot better than what she was offering. The kids will never starve, there will be domestic help to make sure they don't play with matches and perhaps there will be a surrogate female figure who will give them enough love to counteract some of the damage their white trash mother has inflicted.

Word can’t express the sorrow I feel for Britney on this, I don’t if I’ll recover.
But on the bright side, this will mean she has more free time to get together with Paris & Lindsay to combine thier gigantic intellects as they seek solutions to the ills that plague mankind.
To: Perdogg; All
Ordinarily, I’d say “Who cares?” but hopefully by seeing a “high profile celeb” lose her children because of her partying and irresponsibile lifestyle, it will be an object lesson to, and work for good, for a few young ladies/moms.

Sad day in the United Sates of America that there is a Ping list for this kind of garbage. There is no excuse for being entertained by Britney news.
If you are, you have officially reached the bottom and your pathetic defense as to "why" is subject to automatic dismissal by the people who have not been infected buy this and other important Hollywood news.
Anything that is posted in defense should be viewed as evidence of the decay of intelligence of the American population and Mankind.
There is no excuse for entertainment provided by Britney Spears. I am ashamed to see this on the FR. I know that it is impossible that you can not see why.

To: Lizavetta
She's no Carol Brady but she's Mommy, who is now rarely around. She's neither, and was rarely good for the kids when she was around, if you beleive the reports on her.
Sometimes kids are just better off without one or the other parent in their lives.
They didn't need to be around her self-destruction.

Well - it’s good to see that Britney complies with “Truth in Packaging” - and has applied the appropriate “Skank Stamps” just above her bikini line...visible in this picture.
Looks like she gave “Fair Warning” and “Legal Disclaimers” were in place for the observant...

No, this one is a zipper:

Someone should tell her that it's forbidden by the Law of Moses to get tattoos, even in Hebrew. Guess no Orthodox cemetary for her.

My Hebrew is admittedly lacking, but I believe together the characters form one of the 72 words for God (Kabbalah).
Pretty disrespectful; I hope she has gotten this removed.

She likely kept the zipper after she dumped Kabbalah. Her and Madonna/Madge/Esther had that hissy fight and Spears went back to her Christian Life Coach.

Geeze...somebody sure is cranky. If you don't want to read about BritBrit...well, don't open the thread. Its in General/Chat...not like our celeb news is displacing an uber important screed by AlGore in Breaking or any flamewar over in Religion...
I used to have a great quote by Jane Austen as my taggy...
"What is joy in life but to make folly of our neighbors?" I love the celeb antics...and you know what? Even before the Internet; before the National Enquirer (which is waaay more accurate than the NY Slimes btw); there were Hollywood Gossip magazines...my mom used to read PhotoPlay...so my kids will look back on the days that their mom enjoyed PerezHilton. Relax...nothing to get so upset about...
To: SJackson
Your post made me wonder about Britney’s tattoo; which mitvah trumps which -— no tattoos or no erasing the name of G-d.
Reinforces my belief that dabbling in the Kabballah is both dangerous and silly.
