When it comes to memory it is clear that men and women are simply not on the same wavelength.
While men may fail to match a woman's ability to remember the date of an anniversary, they are better at storing a seemingly endless cache of facts and figures.
Scientists believe they have now uncovered the reason for this difference between the sexes they make the memories in different ways.

As long as my husband remembers where he lives at the end of the day, I can live with it. ;)
Actually, he’s more romantic than I am, and never forgets even the most insignificant “anniversary” in our lives. Go figure, LOL!
I have a good memory when it comes to words & I can repeat conversations word for word. I can’t remember anything involving numbers - dates, zip codes, phone numbers, birthdays. If my fiancé doesn’t remember birthdays & anniversary dates on his own, they pass unnoticed. We end up celebrating our anniversaries randomnly, whenever it occurs to us that we must have missed one already.
I have the same excellent memory you have regarding words and conversations, but I also remember numbers just fine. In fact, both of my brothers have the same uncanny memory ability. My husband remembers very little and I really do not look forward to the day when he starts losing his memory because I cannot imagine it getting much worse.
I used to enjoy amazing people with my ability to read a chapter from a book & then repeat it word for word. I stopped bragging about it because when I would honestly forget something once in a while, I’d be accused of “forgetting” on purpose haha.
These types of studies usually get male scientists fired.
Uh...Women have sex on the brain, too...But I suppose it could be included under moods...
He simply knows how to get what he wants. ;0)
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
A married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people in the same house remembering the same thing.
I not only can't forget a birthday, valentines day or anniversary; I have to get a card too. I get the biggest, frilliest card on the top shelf and don't even bother reading it. She usually cries and I get lucky. We live in a strange world!
Moses knows alright!
***...while women form more “emotional” memories such as birthdays, wedding anniversaries and details about the world around them.***
That’s a crock. Men remember mechanical things. Women remember anything important by their colors.
Officer: “Ma’am, can you describe the car that hit you?”
Woman: “Of course I can. It was red.”
Well, he does seem to be a pretty happy guy! :)
