Lord forgive me for what I am about to do

The Barret M82 is used by the United States armed forces as the M107 sniper rifle.
It fires the .50 Browning MachineGun round, commonly called the .50 BMG.
This is the rifle that inspired the famous "recoil" quote.

It's not on the Barrett website, but they have some really cool stuff.
It's from the 2008 Barrett Annual. This is the inside of the scope cover from an M107 rifle.

That headline sounds like something that almost each and every conservative voter would truly say to themselves prior to reluctantly voting for John McCain on November 4. The remaining conservative voters would truly end up doing something else, but they also wouldn’t be voting for Barack Obama (unless people technically count “not voting for John McCain” as also “indirectly voting for Barack Obama”).

“Lord forgive me for what I am about to do”

The Good Lord Above: “I forgive you, my son....just aim high.”

Well, OK, “Love, Mary” it ain’t (Mary Groda-Lewis, dyslexic troubled teen who became a doctor and was immortalized in a 1985 TV movie with Kristy McNichol and who paid the bills for a time working in a factory stuffing C-rat cartons during ‘Nam and who got fired for enclosing little inspirational notes. An Army Times journalist in the field got some of her notes, tracked her down, and married her).

It’s dirty work, but someone has to do it.

Interesting! I just googled “Mary Groda-Lewis” and read a bit about here. I noticed only a little more than 600 hits for her name. As a point of comparison, I tried “Britney Spears” - 108 Million. Sad comparison.

The votes not cast for McCain or Obamessiah cannot cancel the votes for the empty suit Obamessiah. THAT is the goal of too many prowling FR of late. But they will whine that they are holding to the purist line ... ‘the perfect is the enemy of the good’ means nothing to them and isn’t relevant to their agenda. It really looks like they want this nation to suffer and bleed for not meeting their perfection. But in reality, they are agents of the left more surely than Obama’s dumbed down minions.

From the root Immodium. The recipient of the imodicon will experience a tightened sphincter.
