Our sofa is white, too, and spotless. How to keep it clean, make rules. Kids were NO allowed to sit on it if they were dirty. And no shoes or dirty feet on it. It works! They also take their shoes off when they come in. They are NOT perfect, but whatever you INSIST on, they do. Like they know my number one rule here NO TATTOOS. Even tho my kids are now 24, 25 27 they KNOW, NO tattoos!

I wonder what the British health service has to say about her! Ha! Anyway, I like big families. 14 would make a great home school, too. We’re done, I guess with our seven. Our son married a gal who is one of eight children.

Amazing. Beautiful family.
I think that many childbirths must have taken some toll on her body.

I sailed through pregnancies, too. Never had morning sickness. Have NO idea what that is!!! Had them all naturally and FAST. Had our daughter in 49 MINUTES! BOOM! She came so fast! They were all easy pregnancies and deliveries. And I was way to skinny back then. THE GOOD OLD DAYS! My doctor told me I was “built for having babies” and could easily have a 10 or 12 pound baby, that I should have babies for women who have difficult pregnancies.
NO WAY! not me

They will get child benefit, yes.
* £17.45 a week for the eldest child
* £11.70 a week for each additional child
So this family are making ~ $316 a week in benefits if I have my numbers right.

I see the usual pigs have showed up. :-\
Beautiful family - God bless ‘em!

What amazes me are the women who had this many children a hundred years ago. In addition to having the kids, taking care of the kids...cooking everyday from scratch ...washing clothes everyday by hand....No air conditioning...no medical treatments other than natural stuff...

Right...you’ve got facts to back that up, huh?
Truth is, people can live on a LOT less than you’d think, especially if mom is cooking from scratch, everyone wears hand-me-downs and plays with hand-me-down toys, and no one drives all that much. It requires a great deal of sacrifice, of course, but it can be done.
To: farlander
And your proof backing up that assertion? Links?
Nope, didn't think so.

OMG!! 11 females under the same roof... no wonder the guys a truck driver!! I’d have to be on the road to survive that.

Its called welfare. The state pays for all the kids Im sure.
That is the most ignorant post I have seen today. Without a shred of evidence, you assume they are on welfare. In my church there are families with that number of children and darn near it. (Two have 13, two others have 12, a number have 8 or 9). Their incomes vary widely, and none are on welfare. Food is usually the least of the problems. It costs less to make spaghetti and sauce for 13 kids than it does to provide two with a "Happy Meal", big families like this one tend to be problem solvers. They buy clothes from thift stores, sometimes grow their own vegetables, and do without the latest gizmos and cable tv. Also, some truckers work over time to earn extra money. Conservatives suffer enough from false assumptions about how they live. This family did nothing to earn your insult.
