This is an animated video of a dove that we see in most back yards. As a child, I with a slingshot, 22 rifle and 12 gage shot gun, killed many kinds of birds just for sport, to see if I could aim good and bring the little creature to the ground. I didnt kill for food but in adolescent behavior. It is so cruel and for this reason I created this video to show and teach the cruelty of this kind of behavior.
Tell that to the farmer where black birds eat up their crops. Or the Canadian Geese. Sorry.
Murderer.
you want to post in DU or KOS with this kind of ‘anti’ crud.
They’re just birds, my cats kill ‘em all the time for nothing more than sport.
Animal cruelty doesn’t turn me on, so I won’t watch the video. But, for some here this is porn.
Say, kid, do you know what a piñata is?
Beautiful dove, by the way.
The bird in his video is a mourning dove, they will sit at a feeder and gorge themselves until everything is gone. A Daisy Red Ryder BB gun has enough power to send them flying with a nice sting but not enough power to kill them.
All the video shows is a mourning dove sitting in a tree. It doesn't show one getting shot, chased or even fed. There may be some stupid commentary to go with it, I watched it with the sound off.
I’m not sure of the value of your video in it’s current state, but in general I think it’s impressive that you reformed your cruel attitude on your own.
IBTZ??
It takes a bunch of the little fellas to make a meal.
During dove season in Texas the limit is 15 per day with special limits on White-Wing and Ring-necks.
The mourning dove, pictured in the video, is a game bird and is hunted in many states, particularly in the southern U.S. I’ve killed and eaten many of them, they provide good sport and are pretty tasty. If I remember correctly, their population numbers about 50,000,000 in the U.S. alone, so they’re not in any danger of extinction by any means.
I understand men or woman hunting because they have a taste for doves but many children and adults kill just to sport of killing and leave the bird laying there and I believe this is cruel. Thanks for commenting.
Good point.
Cruel as a child but killing birds through ignorance. Not perfect but forgiven!
