London: The saying love is blind really did turn out to be true for 16-year-old Jessica Anderson, for shes getting set to exchange wedding vows with her 50-year-old boyfriend Clive Richards.
Richards, a grey-haired father of two, left his third wife Julia for deputy head girl Anderson six months ago.
Anderson, a schoolgirl, set up house with Richards, a teacher, and is waiting to become his fourth wife, in September next year, when she turns 18.

Despite common predictions were still together and very happy, the Sun quoted him as saying.
I am frustrated that everyone thinks Ive been brainwashed. I have my own mind and this is what I want, Anderson added.
Richards said rumours that his child bride was pregnant were not true.
They moved in together with his 14-year-old son in the village of Goldsithney, Cornwall, near her parents, and he quit his job at Mounts Bay School in nearby Penzance.
Andersons parents Frances and Phil plan to move as they cannot bear to live near the couple.
We still cry about it all the time, Frances said.

Accurate title.
Well it’s certainly pushing the envelope as far as biology is concerned.

Sure honey, sure (sarc). 3 days later, it’s “Daddy, what’s a dishwasher?”
Lol.
Self ping for later. This thread will be a fun read.
Clive Richards...
newest member of ‘top 100 coolest guys on earth.’ ;=)
In five years we'll be reading about how she ran away with her step-son.
GUILTY!
She’s barely half of the “half your age plus 7 rule”.
Someone needs to talk to her about father images. She doesn’t need to marry “dad”.

She doesn’t need to marry “dad”.
I wonder if 1, 2, and 3 were young when he married them too. If so, once she is 18 and legal, well...what comes after 4?
“Skunk” Richards. We had a teacher with hair like that and, of course, we named him “the Skunk”.
Phil's crying, too? How pathetic. I would take a baseball bat to the guy's forehead if that was my daughter.
Ping.
Not sure what to think of this one.
Me too.
They write themselves, don’t they?
A Medieval Home Companion: Housekeeping in the Fourteenth Century, by Tania Bayard (Editor), is the translation of a late 14th Century instruction guidebook written by a 50ish man to his new 15-year-old wife.
I suspect that I am not the only FReeper who has 15-year-old brides as ancestors. And note that until last century the Roman Catholic Church had conditions to allow pre-pubescents to marry!
At least he is not marrying a 6 year old vagina.
Liberals become conservatives-----one at a time.
Yeah, and when those hips expand in a few years, extra guilty
well sadly for her, she will miss out of her youthful exuberance with a nice guy her own age....instead, she'll be sacking up with a guy on the downside of his sexuality, unless of course he uses the Viagra, and even then, sex with a young man is differant than sex with a man of 50..( the passion!)..I am sure men will agree the same about women....
now this guy, though, he'll get his Viagra joyride with a child his son's age, he will ruin her life, destroy her family, his family, and I grieve for his children, having to live with this creep of a dad....
I am sure the social services in England are paying dearly for his lack of marriage fidelity.....
I come for the news, I stay for the color commentary.
Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh....
I just ordered that book. LOL!
Chacun son gout.
I know I do, I’ve found several 14 year old ancestors married to old men.
My grandmother was 15 and my grandfather 30 when they married. They had the happiest marriage I ever saw. He never left the house without kissing her goodbye, even if he was just going to the post office or hardware store.
When she died at age 80, he was lost. He died 5 years later, glad to go to be with her.
That said I would never let an adult man date my teenage daughter.
Lucky for me My parents-in-law didn’t feel that way about me.
My grandfather told me he and my grandmother had never had an argument under their roof. lol He said they always took it outside so he could get a head start in case he had to run to get away from her.
He adored her.
Maybe your inlaws saw something like my grandfather in you.
Pretty close. They think I’m a good guy. So far I’ve none nothing to screw up their trust. And yes even though my wife is much younger I adore her, and she seems to think I’m ok.
Assuming it lasts for a few years ... he’ll have aches and pains and she’ll be raring to go. Stupid girl. Not to mention there is eomothing wrong with him for wanting someone that age. It’s creepy.
In five years we'll be reading about how she ran away with her step-son.
Funny how you mentioned that... I thought the same thing, and knew some people where this actually happened.
Shae and Jack were a couple that had about 25 or 30 years between them. She was 18, and her step-son was 16 when they got married. About 3 years after they got married, Shae ran off with Randy (the step-son). I don't know what ever happened after they ran off, but I do know that before that, Randy had also been having sex with the wife (now ex-wife) of another friend of mine - the kid was a total scumbag, but somehow, a babe-magnet.

“Hey, Bill, remember when we were freshmen and your mom was a senior?”
“Shut up, Ted”
“Remember when i asked your mom to the prom?”
“Shut up, Ted”
Yeeg.
We won't enlighten her. Your secret's safe with us..
Not sure what to think of this one.
Not guilty...and UNGHHHHH!

I wouldn’t want to be him for anything.
OK, she’s cute (which isn’t that hard to be at 16), but I seriously doubt he will be able to keep up with all the changes she is going to go through (not to mention the years of drama he’ll likely be having to put up with). I’m betting he’ll be exhausted (and I’m not talking about the sex) and bored pretty quickly.
She, on the other hand, is likely to find that he will not keep her interest as she matures.
I’m willing to admit that I could be wrong. But I don’t think so.
I’m betting they won’t be able to stand each other within 7 years.
speak for yourself. I’m tellllinnnnn!
Enjoy!
It’s short...she cut out too much material, but it’s fun while it lasts!
Don't know if this will work cause it's so old it comes up as "No such file (give_legacy_article)" sometimes. You may have to click a few times to get it to take.
Notice the date of that post.
Hope she knows CPR.
