Welcome to the weekend thread.
Crude oil prices went down.
Starting in September, the NFL will stream Sunday night football.
Good morning, everyone.
G’mornin’ lysie
Great looking breakfast, this morning.
I’m heading out to the terrace for my 3rd cup of coffee. bbl
Good morning! Thanks for the start, lysie, and the delicious breakfast. Apparently my cat would like some too...
Molly, I didn't see your post about starting the thread until after I started the thread. I was up anyways.
Good morning back to you and everybody except Bitwhacker. I’m mad at him. He knows why.
Yes, I waited too long...how about the next 2 Sats?
We went to a Sara Evans and Gary Allan concert last night. Very entertaining.
A relative...not my husband!...sent me a beautiful bouquet of roses this week. I'm really enjoying them, even tho they're not yellow...
Maybe next Sat., Molly. Thank you. I will need some help in the month of Sept due to my hip operation.
I was just giving some money to FR and noticed my State (TN) is number 13 on the list - pretty good for our size !!!
The Big White LieCity Journal
GE and AlGore scheme...Townhall
A step back from Enviro lunacy Michael Barone
A Cash Transaction Bill O'Reilly on making the rich pay...Yep, he's got it right...
Thanks for the contribution, Rav.
In the meantime, I'll be happy to do next weekend...
Be sure and read the link to O’Reilly’s piece I linked above....
VP Candidates: Dem
Sen Joseph Biden, Evan Bayh, Chris Dodd, Hillary Clinton and Jack Reed — and two governors, Tim Kaine of Virginia and Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas.
On the Republican side, they include ex-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, a rival during the Republican primaries; Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, with whom he has a strong friendship; and former Rep. Rob Portman of the battleground state of Ohio. Republicans also are touting Sen. John Thune of South Dakota, Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, and campaign adviser Carly Fiorina, ex-CEO of Hewlett-Packard Co.
Dick Morris was promoting these names yesterday on Fox News: Colin Powell, Condi Rice, and Joe Lieberman for McCain...
That’s always sweet when an unexpected gift comes your way. I love the perfume roses give.
NOT Colin Powell. He didn’t really tout the conservative agenda when he was Sec of State. I’ll say right off that I can’t give anything to support my thinking but this is my first impression. Does anyone have any other thinking on this?
I’d like to see Thune and Pawlenty stay where they are. Romney can go, Crist, ok, and Fiorina, I’m not familiar with her.
At first I thought Gore should keep quiet, but now I think the more he complains the better it is. He's such a transparent nutcase.
>>NOT Colin Powell.
He probably polls well.......he looks so much more mature than the baby.
He looks mature but he is a RINO. IMHO, he’s more RAT than RINO.
That’s it !! O’Baby !!!
I’m off to Photoshop !!
Morning Lysie, As always good spread even if some it is not recognisable to me :o) or is something I would prefer for tea/dinner.
Cheese sconces for breakfast too heavy for me. :o) Had a slice of bread and butter with marmite on it this morning.
Oh, yum. Cheese scones, I mean. Marmite doesn’t interest me. Perhaps you had to grow up with it.
Sort of like grits.
Lysie show how out of the loop I have been lately did not know you were having a hip operation in September.
Is it a replacement or what? Hope it all goes well freep me an address I would love to send you a get well card.
Thank you. A card would be nice. Thank you.
I also prefer sconces later in the day having said that I used to sometimes have them for mid morning snack when I went shopping and a friend and I dropped into a cafe.
Will do freep me an address and the dates and I will get one off.

Good morning!
The spread looks quite delectable Lysie. Your b-fasts always look nice, and then I have my gruel. (Instant Oatmeal)
I’m so happy it’s the weekend I could just cry.
One of our top exec’s was in town this week - she being one who said her Rat family were all voting McCain, and gave me hope. This week, she said O would win hands down. We are both deeply saddened by this. She is from silicon valley and has that perspective.
Doesn’t make her right, but I’ve maintained all along that McCain will pull it out. I’m not sure anymore.
Thank you for breakfast, lysie. Now I need to go downstairs and make the coffee.
3rd cup IG? WOW,

I read that his polls indicated he's too inexperienced and that's why he's touring Europe, etc.
Heard Tom Ridge of PA mentioned yesterday....
HA! Ya’ done good. You showed not only his inexperience but also the fact that he is being lead around by some nameless, faceless biggees. George Soros, maybe?
I’m going to post that picture throughout FR, if I may.
Yep-go ahead
Perfect!
That’s an actual picture.....not a photoshop - they’re taking him to the smoking area.
I understand your concern. Remember if her dem family will be voting for McCain other people may switch over, too.
Oh golly, that looks good!!!!!
Good Morning Everyone.
Yes he does, Rave, in that picture he looks half swacked too.
Ewwww, I’d rather be looking at Ol’ Hill’s face, than his.
And his training wheels behind him?
Good morning everyone. I have to run errands this morning. Just stopping by to wish you all a great day!
It rained last night, but I was so pooped from the trip back from PA that I didn't hear a thing. LOL
Oops....Good morning, Everyone! And many thanks, Molly, for those interesting links.
