Britney Spears' parenting skills have come under fire yet again after photographs emerged showing the star smoking in front of her son as he plays with a packet of cigarettes.
The singer, branded 'Puff Mommy' by the American press, eventually takes the Marlboro Lights and a lighter from the two-year-old's hands, but continues to subject him to second-hand smoke.

What concerns me the most is the “VOYERISM” that is taking place with these paparazzi invading her privacy.
I think it’s kinda filthy of a person to sit at a distance with a camera looking for the money shot.
It is photographer who needs to be sitting in jail.
I don’t think the kid should be playing with a lighter but then now they are “childproof” and I can’t even get a disposable lighter to hold a flame.

At more than 20K a month, you’d hope. I think I read earlier this week that she is laying down that amount of coin to get herself back in shape.
Shoot, no big deal. When I was that kid’s age, my father would send me to the refrigerator to get him a beer...and look how I turned out...er, never mind.

They're outside in the open air, for pity's sake. I don't see her blowing smoke in his face. The kid isn't subjected to anything...other than having her for his mother and Federline for his father, which are far more harmful factors than "second-hand smoke".
I must say that she is looking better that the last time she was dressed in so little and caught on camera...
She's a singer for goodness sakes. She doesn't pretend to be a moral authority, she's not a politician, and she doesn't even seem to be a mean person. Why all the hate?

Totally agree!! Smoking is a completely legal thing and millions of moms do it everyday in front of there children. The second picture looks like she is reaching to take them away from him.
She is at least trying to overcome her situation and I hope and pray she does. She has come a long way already in trying getting her life in order and while maybe it is poor judgement to smoke in front of your children, it isn’t a crime... At least in all states...
She's more than alot of people. She worked since she was a child, became a big money maker and supported/supports her children, her husband and her family. And she's cute.
Well, at least he isn’t draped with raw meat and dismembered doll parts.
cigarettes are perfect little building block logs.
If you look closer, you’ll see the child has the lighter in his hands also.
