Annette Martinez, a 25-year-old babysitter is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old boy that was in her care this summer.

Annette Martinez was charged with one count of criminal sexual penetration of a minor which is a fourth-degree felony. She admitted to having sex with the 14 year-old forty times although the teen claims they only had sex 10 times.

actually per the story, he got mad at mom and ran to the sitters house. the sitter then told the mom about the sexual encounters. ps: i was 12 and had a 16 yr old sitter. she was fun.lol.

I have to admit, I am one who would be inclined to say "why couldn't this have happened to me when I was 14?" and not really see it as that big of a deal.

But the fact that she got pregnant, and now has a claim for child support against the 14-year-old for the next 18 years is horrendous. If he were my kid, I would be absolutely livid and would definitely want to see her in jail.

An au pair lives with the family and is treated, in principle anyway, more or less as one of the family, as a cousin or older daughter, receiving a modest stipend. A babysitter gets a ride home at night and usually only has sex with the male head of the family.
