You’re right. John Landis directed, Zucker was one of the writers. The Weekly Standard mentioned this movie in the article, I saw it sometime after I graduated High School, thought it was stupid. Its all a matter of taste, I guess.

David Alan Grier plays a slave in a scene designed to show Malone what might have happened if the United States had not fought the Civil War. As Patton explains to a dumbfounded Malone that the plantation they are visiting is his own, Grier thanks the documentarian for being such a humane owner. As they leave, another slave, played by Gary Coleman, finishes polishing a car and yells "Hey, Barack!" before tossing the sponge to someone off-camera. LOL!

From someone who usually goes to 1 to 2 movies per year (Narnia, Lord of the Rings is about it recently), I can not wait for this film. I hope it does very big box office.
Great to see all of these actors taking a bit of a risk too, just by appearing in the film. By the way, I saw a few pictures of Kevin Farley on the set, and boy, as he a dead ringer for Michael Moore!

No, although that was kind of funny. I think Michael Moore as suicide bomber took the cake.
