DAYTON, Ohio - A mother intentionally put her month-old daughter in a microwave oven and cooked the child to death after a fight with her boyfriend, a prosecutor told jurors Thursday. ADVERTISEMENT
Defendant China Arnold and her boyfriend had argued over whether he was the biological father, Assistant Montgomery County prosecutor Daniel Brandt said during closing arguments in the woman's retrial. The argument got so heated that Arnold bit her boyfriend's lip and he slapped her, Brandt said.
Arnold, 28, of Dayton, is accused of killing her infant daughter Paris Talley in 2005. She could face the death penalty if convicted of aggravated murder.
Brandt said Arnold told a cellmate she put the baby in the microwave and turned it on because she was worried her boyfriend would leave her if he found out the child wasn't his, Brandt said.
"She could have stopped it with one finger, but she didn't," Brandt said. "We know she used that microwave as the instrument of death."

So do I. That poor, poor baby. At least she is safe in Jesus arms.
Maybe if we had a three day waiting period before letting people buy a microwave, it could have been prevented.
I see a big lawsuit against LG or GE. I am sure there was no warning not to put live infants (or animals) in the microwave.
Can’t we stick this b1tch of a woman into an industrial microwave and let her experience what she did to her kid?

Her boyfriend is the least of her worries now.
Obama supporter exercising her 4th trimester prerogative, I see.
Having a boyfriend in the house is dangerous for children.
yep, according to Obama this would be ok. Hadn’t really thought of that.
Disturbingly common.
Didn’t stupid ever hear of DNA? Damn! Subhumans like this should never be allowed to exist.
Monsters walk among us...
Good God, how could she DO that?
Some people pollute the world by their very existence.
yes. Atleast she is in Jesus’ arms.
"So I'm gonna cook du kit in the micowave. If you be the dat she won't die. 'Kay shuguh?"
Once I thought Satan was just a metaphor for evil—this proves he still walks the earth; just as in Job’s day (Job 1:7)
Just a sixth trimester abortion. The ACLU is already readying her defense.
These are the nation's public school educated, government teat sucking, leftist loving, dope smoking, baby killers!!
She should be given the death penalty and it should be death by MICROWAVE on LOW!!
Aside from that there are no words to express my total disgust and anger at this monster!!!
I understand where you’re coming from!
I recently went through our old photo albums from when our children were little. Looking at the various pictures brought a huge smile to my face - remembering events such as birthdays, trips, or just seeing snapshots of them at play. These days I also have the pleasure of seeing my grandchildren having similar experiences, and my having the joy of being a part of their experiences. And, then I read a story like this. I’m all at once sickened by what someone was capable of doing to their own flesh and blood, and grateful for having been raised by parents who taught me the value and joy of children.
And one of the arguments for Roe v. Wade was that it was going to prevent this sort of thing.
"Every child a wanted child"
I feel ill.
