I've noticed that the worst critics of Mrs. Palin here and in the DBM have been the women. This was the the first my wife had heard her speak and she was very impressed. Even the libs calling into the local radio show this morning are giving her high marks. They are scared - bigtime.

Hi, everyone. Yesterday, shortly after John McCain announced his VP pick, I discovered that she is Assemblies of God. That gave me a little bit of a clue as to whether she was a Christian or not, ha. I have friends that pastor in Anchorage, so I emailed them, and this is the response I got that has really encouraged me:
As for our lovely Governor, yes, she’s born again, filled with the Holy Ghost and is A/G (all her life) and still attends there in her hometown of Wasilla. She was just at our Dist. Council last April and addressed the people——after she had just given birth. Our Dist. Supt. Used to be her youth leader at the Wasilla A/G.................I understand that it was prophesied over her that God was going to elevate her to leadership in government which He certainly has here in the State of Alaska. She’s done wonders and is a “no holds barred” kind of woman-—kind but firm and stern when she needs to be but very approachable and her husb.,Todd, is part Yupik Eskimo. His Grandma is really brown-skinned as all his people on his mother’s side are even though his father is white. She would do a good job in the White House. If that’s where God wants her and McCain then ..........so be it. We really need to pray, don’t we? The whole state today was in an uproar because no one knew..............what a surprise!! It was the talk of the town and the state but most approve anyway because she has a good record here.........
Of course this is exciting, but also makes me realize we need to double our praying about this election. Anytime someone is sold out to God and is used in leadership, Satan doubles his efforts to thwart their efforts. So continue to pray much. God is still on the throne, and He still controls nations and leaders.
