Side note - I just heard this performed live on Friday at the Hollywood Bowl. He’s one of the libs I can’t abandon - his music is just so great.

I don’t recall it exactly, but she said something like, “the only way for him to save face from being so desperately wrong is for him to say that everyone else was wrong, too”!
I heard the clip on Rush’s show this morning, close to the end of the second hour. It was a great line!

Freedom Hill park in Sterling Heights. Its on 16 mile road, about 5 miles from my house.
I was going to go to the rally so I contacted my friend who is associated with the Macomb County Republican Party. He said he had VIP tickets for he and his wife but could only get a general admission for me. When I found out what time it was going to be held (5:00 p.m.) I declined his offer.
Traffic on 16 mile rd. (Metro Parkway) is horrendous at that time of the day due to homeward bound traffic from Troy eastwards. One would have to to get there at 3:00 p.m. and wait, and wait, and wait........
No kidding, huh? I don't remember taking my first flight until I was 17! Of course, my mom never ran for Vice President! (thank goodness)
Followup to my response...of course, I made it up in the last ten years...seven trips to India, that's about 210,000 miles, plus a trip to DeKalb, IL via O'Hare.
Sterling Heights is a suburb of Detroit about 10 miles north in Macomb County. A mostly blue collar automotive community. Best known for Reagan democrats.
Yes, I do believe Sarah is coming back home tomorrow. We do need her here for a few Governor matters. Besides, I think she’s given her share to the country for the week. Our Annual permanent fund check amount was released today. With the fuel rebate we are getting $3268 each. That’s every man, woman and child who is a legal resident of Alaska and who will serve on jury duty. We’ll give her back to the country very soon - promise.
Don’t be so sure. Anyway, there will be events in CA, so participate as you can.
