Hello, FRemales. This is a purely informal and non-scientific question for the sole purpose of gaining some insight into your perspective of the current election to-do.
Since Barack Obama has chosen to dispatch a group of Democrat women to counter the nomination of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, I have become highly curious about how women might respond.
My "research" questions are as follows:
(1) With whom do you identify more: Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Janet Napolitano, other Democrat women sent out to respond to the Palin nomination (name your pick), or Gov. Sarah Palin?
(2) Why do you identify with this person (persons)?
Your answers will not be recorded elsewhere and are purely informal. I am just wondering what you all think.
I offer my most respectful thanks for your answers, no matter what they may be.
Thanks for your help,
60Gunner
Are you really wondering the answer to that question?
I would be tempted to KILL to be more like Sarah, but even in my ‘UNWORTHINESS” I most identify with her.
(was this a bonus question?)
Do you also wonder who’s buried in Grant’s tomb?
I own a S & W .38 and a .32 and I HATE give aways for those that are to dang lazy to work.
I love my Creator and I love my Country.
I have not one but 2 new Heros!
You’ve been here for more than 3 years, and you ask a question like this.
??? Why ???
People are just tired of angry white women who want to be men. That anger and sentiment might have been needed at the time (40 years ago), but not any more.
The new feminism is to be unappologetically female; to acknowledge women are different than men, and so what? Palin is so refreshing because she looks forward and not backward in time.
Anger is such a waste of time.
Sarcasm, on the other hand, is so much fun......
I don’t identify with Sarah Palin on a personal level.
Politically, we’re the same.
I am a wife, mother of 2, black woman, pro-life, pro-gun rights, pro-drilling. I believe in the sanctity of marriage between a man and woman. And I strongly identify with Gov. Palin. So what if her family is dysfunctional. My family put the “fun” in dysfunctional.
If your serious about women and men looking for other Conservative women to emulate, here’s a link to Conservative women bloggers that usually nail the issue of the day with class and facts, not hysteria, b*tchiness and whining:

And my female political Hero is Margaret Thatcher. She and I match 100% on our views on ‘The Political Compass’:

Your question would have made more sense if you asked the lady Freepers which Democrat women will make more effective surrogates for Obama.
1. DUH
2. Because she is closer in age to me than some of those Dem women. I am the mother of 4- one has special needs and my kids are spread almost the same way. My oldest is a boy and then three girls, also. I am a working mom. My husband stays at home with the kids during the day. I like wearing lipstick and looking pretty. I generally walk into a room with a smile on my face. I love men- I believe in my power as a woman but not to the detriment of men. She kicks butt way more than I do, but I also am of the school of kicking butt and taking names. Some of my coworkers (the useless, lazy and evil ones) would perhaps also have nasty things to say about me, but my approval rating is generally high. ; ) I have never gotten around to learning to shoot guns, but I would love to! Wow- I could do this all day! Quite frankly, Sarah is my homegirl!

I think you may need this. :)
It’s not because her family is dysfunctional...Whetever their problems are, it’s a lot more functional than mine. ;-)
I like her, I just don’t see myself in her. However, I don’t have to...I like her politics and her consistency. Good enough for my vote.
Good One
I guess great minds think alike ;-)
Thanks for your time and answers. Don't worry. I'll treat my own lacerations and contusions. I may need some help to the ER, though. Can one of you give me a ride?
