Shifts in momentum happen all the time during Presidential campaigns. We are in the post convention phase and the race has tightened. In politics, there are times to go on offense and there are times when you just sit back and watch your opponents implode.

Right now Obama and his liberal pals are running wild, lashing out hoping to damage McCain and Palin with anything and everything they can think of. Its called desperation.

This thread should be emailed to the McCain campaign.

I think it’s part of the strategy. Let Obama do himself in. Let him spend his money in states he didn’t think he’d have to. Let Obama go on the attack while McCain rises above it and looks more Presidential. As Palin said in her interview last night: the American people are not stupid - they know what’s going on. If you noticed in the last round of ads from McCain, the media played it up as “back and forth” attacks and tried to deligitimze McCain’s ads. Let him save the money and go in for the kill later.

McCain does seem to have gone soft over the past week. It’s at the worst time, too, because the drive-by media are blaming Republicans for the financial meltdown, ignoring the fact that it’s a mostly ‘Rat scandal heavily involving numerous Obambi cronies.

McCain should have been out of the box immediately with ads linking Obambi and his thug associates with Fannie Mae.

Post-partisanship, nothing more.

California suffers the same fate that awaits this nation.

I liked McCain ad that Obama’s bigger government, higher taxes policies will cast a long shadow on the country and any economic recovery. Thought it was very effective. I just hope when the debate comes up McCain is fired up and calls Obama out as all talk and no substance. O has spent most of his career running for higher office. How is that preparation to be commander in chief?
