Thank you for the detailed coverage of his proposal. If he said that during that CNN stint I completely missed it. But maybe I must confess that I completely blew my stack when he was talking about Global Warming. I started walking around cursing to myself after that.
CNN has kind of ignored what McCain is actually proposing re the bailout and mostly focusing on his campaign suspension. He is actually standing with the Conservative members of Congress on this one.. I am shocked. I think you saw on CNN snips from the ‘Global Initiative’ speech and snips of when he was talking about all the junk the Dems where putting in the bill (billions extra in pork) just as an example of how the process is corrupt.
I would agree with the assessment that John McCain is a RINO not to be trusted to put forth a conservative agenda. I disagreed with much of his acceptance speech.
All through the speech I kept telling myself, “He did pick Sarah Palin. He did pick Sarah Palin.” That helped a lot.
