I miss "Dick the Bruiser"...he was a legend in the Detroit area, although a bit before my time. Ah, the good ol days of pro wrestling.

I followed pro wrestling a bit in the early/mid ‘70s. Was a big fan of John “The Golden Greek” Tolos fan back then. ....back when he used to fight “Classy” Freddie Blassie. Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles.
Stopped watching in the late ‘70s.

When did this change?
“Greco” Colloquially referred to simply as Greco, this style of wrestling forbids attacks below the waist. As a result, throws are encouraged as the Greco-Roman wrestler cannot avoid being thrown by simply hooking or grabbing his opponent’s leg. Otherwise, the sport is similar to freestyle.
A heel pick “tree top” was a fave of mine.
Swoop in, pick the heel and blast straight up. Then pounce to pin.

Going into unmoderated enemy territory takes balls of steel.
Not for the faint of heart. Hats off to you.

There is a vid out there some where of some jackass jumping around in in a kickboxing fight, some punk in dreadlocks against some Irish guy.
The punk cartwheels and flips and dazzles and stuns till he cartwheels right into a full face blow
