"The View's" Elisabeth Hasselbeck is reportedly "really upset" about the recent political discussions (i.e. the upcoming presidential election) that have been taking place on her daytime gab fest. As the lone Republican on the talk panel -- not to mention the youngest -- she just can't seem to win against her loud, liberal counterparts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg.
While tensions are high on set, a "View" staff member told the Chicago Sun-Times that things aren't as bad as they were during the Rosie O'Donnell era. Still, it's bad enough that Barbara Walters has set up a "cooling off" meeting for her ladies.
Rumor has it that Elisabeth may even be leaving "The View" to host her own program on the FOX News Channel, where she can be with her own "kind" ... and not have to face off with Joy and Whoopi on a daily basis! That sort of makes me sad. Although I think Hasselbeck often comes across as being out of touch, uninformed, and immature, I must admit that the outspoken 31-year-old makes for some good television!

A hot babe, but clearly needs to vacate the View. The View needs to hire a strong conservative babe. Elizabeth seems very weak to me....yes she did on Survivor too. She hooked onto that older guy and sailed through.
time for foxnews to hookup Liz, she could have a real woman’s show instead of the femi-nazi fest at the View...

My only complaint about Elisabeth is that she is too darned respectful. She should give as good (and as rude) as she gets.
Why would ANY intelligent woman continue to come into work everyday on a show like this?
Talking current events with three Stepford liberals is about as intellectually stimulating as arguing with a ball-pitching machine. Even if you hit the balls out of the park, the machine just keeps pitching.

She really has no business having her own show on fox, she really doesn’t know how to talk...Is she going to have a show because of her looks????
I want to see intelligent woman on TV with real interviews, that’s why i don’t watch the “view”....dumb show for dumb people
While four liberals against a lone Republican is considered balanced by liberals, they’d really be happier with five nags gushing liberal drivel amongst themselves.
FOX should welcome Elisabeth Hasselbeck with open arms.

you might be surprised what a little prep and some education will do. the view does not really concern itself with such things.a show on fox would and they would prep her very well, imho.
Elisabeth has my respect and sympathy. She sees more a-holes every day than the average gastrointestinal surgeon sees in a year.
