AMERICA-The Right Way! (Oct.13-17,2008)Remember the WTC,Pentagon and Flight 93!

Good evening, and welcome to the new week's thread.

We enter the last 3 weeks of the campaign, 1 debate to go, and a reported very large ad-buy by the McCain campaign.

Something, something... must happen soon to re-energize the R ranks and the candidate himself, altho NOT his running mate who continues full steam ahead.

In Nobama news, ACORN and his Rezko ties continue to draw some scrutiny, and perhaps by Patrick Fitzgerald in Chicago.

An oh yes, there's the economy and the markets, both here and worldwide...

Have you noticed that you pick “ATRW” in general chat, but the thread, at least initially, appears on the other side??

According to a blurb on World Net Daily, Yosemite Sam says he’s going to get tough Wednesday night in the final debate. Here’s the link........I hope it works.

Good morning. I’m going to find my local Acorn and register to vote.

By the way, Obama had not been running ads in TN since McCain was so far ahead. That changed this weekend.

Yep - I’m predicting a gunless Civil War where the country is put back the way it was.

I’m considering going door-to-door and get signatures from people that if he breaks his promise we’ll break ours and not pay it.

And, tell me why O is running ads in Illinois!??

He has so much foreign money that he just doesn’t know what to do with it?

How to buy yourself a lot of votes....

The Tax Foundation estimates that under the Obama plan 63 million Americans, or 44% of all tax filers, would have no income tax liability and most of those would get a check from the IRS each year. The Heritage Foundation's Center for Data Analysis estimates that by 2011, under the Obama plan, an additional 10 million filers would pay zero taxes while cashing checks from the IRS.

Hmmm---

I tried several times to post an article but it isn't working this morning. Maybe I have to pay my dues first?

It was French president Nicolas Sarkozy who actually uttered the words, but you could draw the same message from watching the televised debates in the United States at both the vice-presidential and presidential level. You know that America's founding economic philosophy is in deep trouble when candidates for our nation's highest office refer easily to "Wall Street greed" and "predatory lenders" to explain the global financial crisis. And those are the Republicans.

Where are the champions of free-market capitalism? Someone needs to remind us all that two great works were published in 1776, both representing game-changing advances in human freedom: The Declaration of Independence, authored by future American president, Thomas Jefferson, and "The Wealth of Nations" by Scottish economist Adam Smith. Both embrace the social wisdom of individual liberty; both extol the importance of personal responsibility.

Good Morning Everyone!

One of the biggest regrets of my life is that when I got the call asking me to go to Florida in 2000 to assist with the hanging chad observation, I turned them down.

I am going to have my bags packed and ready to roll on Nov 5

I like the term "psychological Iron Curtain", it fits. From the article:

Only in America are they so equally balanced. Elsewhere in the West, the true believers in the Nanny State have long since prevailed.

Democrats and Republicans have become two solitudes, and so, the result of the election will be ugly, no matter which side wins.

If McCain wins, the left will indeed get ugly. If zeroman wins, that half of the country will be horrified.

This is really weird. I’ve switched computers and there are no page updates on this computer, too. So maybe it isn’t the computer, but maybe it’s FR. I’m moving to the Yahoo site.

I can see on the ping page that there are new posts to ATRW but I can’t get to them. Weird!

They're doing that in hopes of driving enough turnout to influence down-ticket elections, even if they end up losing the state. Obama clearly wants coattails.

If you read Rasmussen's inside the polls reviews, you can see the STOOPID sheeple still think the Dims will be better with the economy. They just don't read and assimilate information, therefore, they believe the dirty Republicans are totally responsible for the current economic disaster.

I also heard that many people have already voted absentee or by early voting....so, even if the messiah falls on his empty head, he will still receive a percentage of the votes.

McCain jolly well better get tough! Let's hope, that if he does, the dumbed down electorate will understand him.
