Has anyone RSVP'd tickets to a McCain/Palin rally online via McCain's official campaign website? I did so today for a rally that I will be driving 5 hours to attend tomorrow morning. I haven't received any confirmation or anything and am starting to get worried.
I think tickets are required to attend the event, but the website clearly offers the choice of RSVPing online. I submitted my reservation on the website and a message screen appeared which stated something like "Thanks for signing up for the rally." It was a generic automatic response message.
So, has anyone previously done this online? If so, did you have to check in once at the rally? Did they even check for a ticket? Any advice?
I went to see W in 2000 and it was said "tickets are required." Once I got there, they never checked any ticket.
I wouldn't be so worried if I wasn't going to drive 5 hours in the middle of the night to see Sarah.
Thanks in advance.
If you’re talking about a rally in NC, someone posted earlier today that they had “a stack” of tickets if anyone wanted one. Maybe search keywords and titles for “tickets” and find that guy.
I had to RSVP online for Sarah Palin tickets when she came here to Carson , California. I started getting worried also and fired off three or four e-mails stating I hadn’t recieved my tickets yet. The next day I got them. If you think it is getting too close and still haven’t heard anything I would make a phone call into your Mccaain/Palin headquarters and ask what you should do. Hope this helps.
Verizon is the kind of venue for which I would expect you'd need a ticket because space is limited.
If you need tickets for the Indiana rally, I have a pair I will give you. They're general admission, which means you're out on the lawn, but you'll be there. Private reply to me.
I did it in VA and printed them right on line.
Are you coming to Melbourne FL tomorrow?
When I signed up online for a Sarah rally in NH, the “Thanks for signing up” Web page included a link to download a PDF of the ticket that you could print yourself.
They never checked for tickets at the rally...
